It's a shame in this media owned world that the media continually feeds on, and in most cases helps cause, the destruction of celebrities. It is not known whether the pic was leaked by Vanessa or Zac (I'd like to think that these kids havent been that jaded yet) or whether it was leaked by someone (media?) trying to start trouble for the young actress, it is sad that something so beautiful and innocent as a private gift for her significant other will be chum and fodder for the vultures known as the media machine. Its really sad to see this for so many different reasons. I'm not sure about Disney trying to portray these actors as wholesome, innocent little kids. So to you that hold your TV Guides as your personal bibles, get a life.
Second, whereas our social mores dictate that woman show off more and more skin and less and less clothes, perhaps, due to her age and the fact that Vanessa still falls underneath the pristine umbrella of the Disney image, we can return to a moral imperative that is severely lacking. We pay more attention to this nonsense when at your local middle school there are girls that wear bracelets representing what sexual acts they are willing to perform.
Our social and moral values are in serious need of an enema. Perhaps more invasions of privacy will provide the fiber and/or immediacy to flush out the hypocrisy, the ambivalence, and the arrogance to claim outrage in one breath while propagating it around the water cooler or turning your head when your daughters cheapen themselves with such pictures for a kid she won’t even be dating in six months.
The human form is sacred and beautiful. Relations between a man and a woman are sacred and beautiful. Until we teach this, until we instill this, all these words for or against displaying this type of picture are wasted words.

I'm 28 years old, and I have done a lot of raunchy things in my past, but now I am a mother of a 6 year old girl who worships the High School Musical cast, movies and soundtracks. I must say that this makes me ill. Regardless of the fact that the picture was taken in private, and for her boyfriend (another member of the HSM cast), these kids, (and yes, I know they're 18 and older), should not have put themselves in a position where an incident such as this could happen. Luckily, my child is too young to use the Internet, but there are children, 9, 10, and older that can and will see this and think that it's okay. Actions such as this have consequences and Vanessa is facing to consequences now. I don't feel sorry for her. I feel sorry for her parents who didn't raise their daughter to make better decisions in her life. She may have ended her career with Disney ... all for one nude pic. :(

Supposedly the pictures were taken a couple of years ago. So, this picture is of a minor and should be taken down. The picture was also reportedly for Drake Bell, not Zac, so the whole "in love" thing can be thrown out the window. People need to just get over it. The story is everywhere and it's old news now.
