Many of the readers on this blog are devotees of http://artwc.org which is where all the blind items in the world are compiled in one nice place. The items date back to the year 2000 I believe. The reason Billie took down the site yesterday was it was getting too many hits. They recorded 38,000 hits on the 31st which is more than the site can handle. Hopefully it will be up and running soon. Although the main page is down, it appears you can type in the months in the address and see 2006 items and 2007 items. For example, here is Jan and Feb.

It's back up. Party on, people!
Please forgive me, but I had to take it down. I have a collection of nearly 10 years, and I love having everyone visit it, but I've compiled the pages for my USENET group...alt.gossip.celebrities, and it's not geared for as many hits as it's been taking. I've funded the pages in the past, but starting this year, some members of AGC have volunteered to pay for each month. There are more pages that are for the group, such as a Website of the Day, daily jokes...etc...so I feel I have to keep at least those pages available, which means I can't let all of my bandwith used for the Blind Items.
I want the pages to be available to EVERYONE, and I'm trying desperately to find a way to make that happen. I don't intend to make money off of the page, I just want it to pay for itself. I'm basically stupid when it comes to anything other than yahoo, and have no idea where to begin. So, for the moment, I'm floundering trying to find a way to put the pages up and a server, with some ads that would cover the charges from the server.
Again, please forgive me, because nobody loves blind items more than me, and I want more than anything for them to be seen by everyone, but please be patient with me until I can figure something out.

If you see Perez write a post at this particular moment that titles "Living The Dream", then you know HE'S FEELING THE HEAT!!!
His blog has not been the same for a long time now, he's ignored all the complaints from his readers, and he painted himself in a nice corner where he's isolated from absolutely everyone. But he still does not "get it" in my opinion -- He never has, that's why he's forced to live by impulses and erratic reactions, instead of courageous action.
And in regards to the many people who said they have joined in the boycotting him -- Go for it!! and don't let ANYONE disuade you if YOU believe it to be the right thing. As I said in the "Perez Sucks" thread, there's absolutely no entreprise out there who enjoys *substancied* backlash, contrary to what you've heard. I've dealt with enough groups and sites I keep a watch on online & off to know that everytime they're came down hard on for various abuses they reacted as Perez did, and do everything in their power to minimized the effects (and make it go away as fast as possible)...It's the most embarassig and uncomfortable position a company can find themselves in.

When dealing with businesses you have to speak with the incriminating facts, and point the ethical contradictions between their own ethics/standards and them promoting Perez. So tell them why you're not ok with them promoting him, or at least not comfronting him with that topic head on, or including it in his profile for the public to have a full & fairer representation of what he does............)
STEP 3: Warn the company early on of your plans to boycott. Sometimes just the threat of a boycott does the job.
(.........Which is what we're doing! And based on Perez's past history, everytime he's been hit with a crisis he tries gaining his fans back, then it's back to his old tricks..so I'd say he's been given enough chances, so anyone feels like boycotting START!!...........)
STEP 4: Spread the word via word of mouth, e-mail and a Web site dedicated to the cause. Get a petition going.
(............Petitions don't work in my opinion, so forget them. Word of mouth yes, tell your Perez fans and sites who support his stories what you think of him, and present them with links or evidence. Trust me as low as his standards are and no matter how much he pretends not worry about it, even Perez lives by his reputation. So that's where he'll feel the sting the most: his money & reputation. And as public that's where your power lies. As for the rest, that will need to be worked on.............)

Bottom Line...we are fighting a war on terror. If you don't believe this, than you are a fool. Stock up on canned goods and what you think you need to survive on for at least six months. We have been attacked on many more occasions than 9-11. Just not on our soil. And it won't stop. These Islamic Extremists want us dead. Plain and simple: dead. They want to put an end to our way of life. And they will do it unless we squash them with every might that our military has. Put all this Political Partisanship BS aside...We need to band together to overcome these extremists to show them that we still have and live in the GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!! So that we can go to an airport without having to take off our shoes....which is totally ridiculous.
George Bush has done everything in his power to try to squelch this happening in our country. Other politicians are fighting his ideas. And we now have Nancy Pelosi, from SAN FRANCISCO!! as third in line to the Presidency. HELLO!!! How in the Hell did THAT happen? She’s worse than Hillary!! That should scare any one of us in to eating beef and taking a long trip by a gas powered car. How many more freedoms shall we give until we are not what we are anymore? "Gay.com" especially has **no excuse** whatesover sponsoring Perez, based on his treatement of LGBT!!
