The best looking person of the day award goes to William deVry. Seriously, why can't I look like that? I have almost the same suit, but of course have about 50 pounds and an extra ten inches around the waist. Not to mention an additional thirty years, less hair and teeth, and no ability to grow facial hair after a terrible accident involving a blow dryer and meth.

I agree with other posters in other posts who think that the writing style doesn't sound like EL.
I had written previously that EL usually does not use contractions (like Data from Star Trek: TNG).

We have mutual friends and about 15 years ago he showed up (straight from work on some movie) at my birthday party in a costume straight out of an Officer & a Gentleman! Everyone loved it.
