Reese was married as much as ten years ago. Im not saying that lesbians dont sometimes marry men and have children, but I remember when Reese hooked up with Ryan. They were happy, genuine. If she had a little on the side "personal assistant", I'd be very surprised.
More than likely, this is just NY Post being full of shit, and just posting a "Blind" which all of us blind-saavies know already: That Jodie Foster is gay. She ALWAYS introduced "my Cydney" as her personal assistant, and they HAVE been together more than ten years. Can you think of ANY Hollywood starlet that can even KEEP an assistant for that long? I've never heard of it. Would make sense if this was just Jodie Foster and her partner.

Just want to say about Reese that she and her kids go to my church and she has always been low-key and unpretentious. Her kids don't get any special treatment and she never tries to draw attention to herself.
#3 Def Reese...but I don't necessarily think it's an insult, either--what better way to get your best friend into every event, every meeting, etc. I'm sure they would have worked it out ahead of time "i.e. is it okay if I call you my assistant?--Whatev, do I get to meet ....".
