Samantha Ronson Thinks It's Serious
How do you know when a relationship is serious here in the year 2008? Do you call friends and tell them? Do you throw a little party? Well, of course you could do all those things but then you would actually have to interact with someone. That all seems to germy so instead what you do is change your Facebook page. Well apparently Samantha Ronson changed hers today from Single to In A Relationship. Wow, I guess she wanted to make sure. Either that or Ellen and Portia broke up overnight and Samantha is praying.
So, apparently she has left the with who part of the In A Relationship blank. Maybe she is hoping her special someone will make the first move and then she can reciprocate. It can be like "you hang up." "No, you hang up first." "Let's hang up together."
Now in this day and age, you really don't get that as much. You do get Facebook updates though and it was just done, so maybe they had a really good night or that Samantha was just really lazy and only got around to it right now. Well, it doesn't really matter. I'm actually happy for her and them and I think all of you should be too. Samantha has obviously helped keep Lindsay on the straight and narrow and should allow all of us to focus on other disasters in the making.
Do you think Samantha would DJ her own wedding? I know what I'm getting the happy couple if they do get married. A nice brand new bottle of Blue Seduction For Women. If it's good enough for Melanie Griffith it's good enough for everyone.

I have to admit that I find this pairing to be...odd. Lesbian thing aside, I'm not sure what Lindsay sees in this woman, and also, I'm not entirely certain that Lindsay is a lesbian. I kind of think something weird is going on, like this Ronson woman has somehow taken a very disturbed young woman and somehow convinced her that they are in love. If you look at the so-called friends and family Lindsay has around her, it might make sense that she would latch on to someone who professes their undying devotion to her.
But, gotta admit, I'm only going on what I see in the media, and all of this could just be a very clever ruse to keep people talking about a girl who screwed up her career by being indulgent and stupid. Whatever the case, I hope they're happy and that it's on the level.
Is this a recent picture and is that yet another hickie on Ms./Mr. Ronson? If they get married forget the fragrance, they need all the foundation their necks can stand.
Lindsey may have had these tendencies all along, & fought them by being promiscuous. Sometimes people are reaching out for something, not knowing what it is yet.
Not that I am defending her in anyway, but I know a few people like that.
Maybe I'm biased b/c I love lesbianism and most of what goes along with it (mullets, not so much), but I buy that there's chemistry there! Oddly (because it's LL), seems like a totally normal and healthy relationship.
I'm also in a good mood b/c perez reported that Emily Blunt is single again. And Anne Hathaway's single, isn't she? Reunion, ladies?
I agree with Adrian. Unless Lindsay starts discussing her sexuality with the press, it's unlikely we'll know for sure whether she considers herself a lesbian. But, it seems so obvious that Lindsay and Samantha are in an intimate relationship. I can't tell if Samantha is a good influence or not. I thought she was just as big of a druggie as Lindsay's other "friends".
Here's what I don't understand. Didn't everyone assume that Sam was LL's dealer back before rehab and everything? Does this mean that wasn't the case or that Sam is still passing shit along.
It's working for them, so I hope it's real and it continues.

Lindsay hasn't looked this happy and healthy in years, so I'm cheering them on. Ronson has been good for her.

I'm so sick of that damanged blonde pull-all-the-long-hair- forward-over-the-shoulder look. Maybe it's just me. But she had really pretty red hair at one time.

I agree - the blond hair has always looked terrible. Her as a brunette has always been an improvement.
And I was under the same Sam/druggie impression. That, and she always looks like shit. Ladies, I'm not saying she is not attractive, I'm talking about how she always has such dark giant bags under her eyes and is a tad underweight.
But I say 'good for them'. It's about time she calmed the eff down and i really like Adrian's theory on her sexuality. Could be!

I'm happy for them, but I remember reading that Samantha R. is big into coke, so how would that work for Lindsay's pretend sobriety. Also, I remember blinds about Lindsay actually being more into women than men: Recall, how angry she would get with Paris H. who swings both ways, etc. They look so happy and everyone deserves happiness in their lives and in their relationships. Redgurl - can't remember where I heard this but someone was saying that Lindsey used to sell herself out to the paps, and she and Ronson would do it for extra money. I think it kind of backfired on them, though.
I'm a het but have to say Ronson is hot, even though she's not what you'd call conventionally pretty. No matter what she may have done prior, it seems she's helped Lohan stay on the straight and narrow. They make a good couple and both seem happy and comfortable together. That's more than you can say about most celebs, I guess.

Adrian, I think Sam and Charlotte are a perfect illustration of what can happen when an in-vitro egg splits after fertilization. We all know about "evil twins" and their sweeter counterparts. But when the Ronson girls were developing, Sam got all the testosterone-laden hormones, and Charlotte got all the estrogen. I would bet Charlotte was all about rainbows, kitties, flowers, hearts, and baby dolls when she was a lttle girl. And Samantha was all about snakes, snails, and puppy dog tails.
I find the ying/yang traits of twins fascinating, and I believe masculine/feminine twins are almost proof positive that homo/heterosexual traits are biological.
