James Franco In GQ

Well if you can tear yourself away from the photos long enough, I'm sure GQ would love for you to click on over to their site and read the interview with James Franco which includes such nuggets as what it was like making out with Sean Penn. Probably tasted a lot like cigarettes in a strip bar with just a hint of fear of discovery. Anyway, to read the interview, click here.

My funny bone is getting a serious workout today!!!

Anyone else think Pineapple Express was a bit overrated?

moosh - I'm surprised so many people loved it. To me it was entertaining but not a classic.

That said, I love this set of photos and that article is AWESOME! STRONG recommend to read.

Exactly.

Oh, I should've said that Franco was definitely the best/funniest part of the movie for me.

Thanks for the pics Enty!

“Already,” he relates, “I have had people come up to me in cafés and say, ‘Hey, you’re James Franco, right? Hey, I can’t get hold of my guy—do you know where I can buy some good weed?’

LOL!!!!

Okay, for my 30th comment (EDIT BUTTON!!!), I have to say how refreshing it is to read a good, in-depth, thoughtful interview for a change instead of the usual fluff.

Ok, now Seth Rogen please :)

Mooshki (love that name, btw) my 17 year old son went to see it and he loved it. So I'm thinking that's the target audience. Young, dopey males....

heh.

Thanks, MN. The thing is, I usually have the exact same taste in movies as young, dopey males. :) ("Eurotrip" is one of my all time faves.)

I never really noticed this guy before. But now I have. Yum.

yes Harriet Hellfire--I agree. He is a good looking guy. And seems intelligent--I think Lyndsey Lohan was after him at 1 point, & he blew her off.

Watch his funnyordie clips...so good!

Wow, his 1st photo looks like a young Marlon Brando in 'A Street Car Named Desire'; let's hope he doesn't end up the same way.

Isn't James Franco also the number one guess for Ted C's blind about Crotch Un-lastic?

Even if he is, I just want one hour with him with the lights ON!!

HE BLOWS OFF ALL THE GIRLS.........

Oooh he just turned up the heat to 150 for me. Gonna go grab some ice and cool down. Love. me. some. franco.

Lisa, after reading the article, that does seem to be a concern. Dude needed to practice his method acting for P.E., get 4:20 friendly and chill out a bit. Life's too short to worry that much.

For those of you who haven't yet had the pleasure, go rent Freaks and Geeks.

I love Freaks & Geeks! Judd Apatow went to my high school, & allegedly used his experiences there for much of the show, Every once in awhile I catch a reference to a teacher, street, etc, so it is really fun to watch!
And, you see where James Franco, Seth Rogen, Jason Segal, etc got a a big start!

mooshki said...

Adrian, that must be really fun to have the inside track on some of the jokes. :)

mooshki--some of the teachers he portrays are really funny--you know just who they are, and he had Lindsay living on Juneau Blvd, which was a very expensive neighborhood-(still is) at the time.
He is basically my age, give or take a year--his brother is in my yearbook, so I know just who/what he is talking about most of the time.
And, my library has the whole series, so I didn't have to buy it!!
My son wants to marry one of his daughters so he can work for him in the futiure!

I'm 21 years old and I loved Pineapple Express! But I was also stoned when I saw the movie. Which is really the only way you can enjoy it. So for those of you who didn't really like it, try watching it high next time! ;-)
