It won't play. :(
Link. Oh lord, she pulls out the old pageant mom chestnut - "it's what she wanted."
She does have some reasonable points - things got out of control really fast and they couldn't keep up.
What happen to the video?
Sylvia - the embedding didn't work, but I've got a link to it in my second comment.
"Britney pushed me" Who's the parent?
Mooshki, when things start getting out of control for a child, the parents need to step in, slam on the breaks, and say "STOP! Let's see if this is really what's best for you rather than what you want." Kids WANT all kinds of things that are unhealthy. It's the responsibility of the parent to set limits and teach good judgment.
**stepping down of soapbox**
Lisa, after Ryan O'Neal and Coke Daddy, I guess my standards for adequate parenting are particularly low lately. :) I wasn't saying what she did was right, just that it was less awful than I expected (well, her version of it anyway).
Oh cynical Mooshki, not every parent auctions off their child's soul to the highest bidder. :) There's a special place in hell for those that do.
Lisa, well said on both of your posts. I'm glad to see there are others who are as sickened as I am at Lynne Spears. That woman doesn't deserve the gift of children and I wouldn't blame Britney for cutting her mother out of her life permanently or at least keeping contact with her to a strict minimum. I am stunned at how this woman is STILL profiting off of her daughter even after all the drama that so publicly went down. She goes on about her sob story, then says 'buy my book!' Now we know what she was doing when she was MIA during Britney's year-long meltdown.
