Daily Mirror Blind Item
Which football star who bills himself as a nicey-nice guy is actually such a grizzly grump to all his staff they're petrified of seeing him?

Change "staff" to "Nicole Simpson" and you have your answer.
Becks?
I'm going with Joe Montana.
I'm confused, isn't The Daily Mail from the UK? I guessed Becks due to thinking Europe, and England, where American soccer is called football. Am I wrong?
I agree with pk. I think this is someone from European football. I don't know if it's becks, though. He just seems to be the only one we know over here.
Becks, all the way. He is completely anal; apparently straightens & combs out the fringe on the area rugs, etc.
Nothing is ever perfect enough, he's paranoid, blah blah blah...
He's got 3 kids and has time to comb the rug fringe out? That boy needs to be my husband!
It must be Gary Linekar; he is an ex-footballer turned TV presenter for the BBC's "Match of the Day" program.
He has also starred for about 10 years in TV adverts for Walkers crisps with the strapline "No more Mr Nice Guy".
