Jessica Simpson Dropped By Her Record Label
One and done for Jessica Simpson. I guess for some reason record companies expect their artists to actually sell albums. Since Jessica didn't sell many, the label has said bye bye to Jessica. They must have really thought she had not future to drop her after just one record. I wish the people who signed her to do movies would have realized the same thing after one movie instead of subjecting the world to I think four. If there are more, please don't tell me about them because it will make me scream.
At least now Sony has room to sign a few more artists who can actually sing and most likely remember their lyrics when they are out singing live. Jessica was given a great opening act spot and she basically blew it. She could have gone out every night, given it her all and impressed people. When you impress them they buy your records which makes record labels happy and doesn't get you dropped.
Think about that Jessica if you ever get another chance.

I saw the new Eminem video this morning. He pretty much makes fun of just about everybody. However, he REALLY made fun of Jessica. Since I can't stand her, I thought it was pretty funny.
Poor little has-been. As long as she doesn't pull a Mindy McCreedy, I guess she'll be okay.
Her sister Ashlee also has no talent and hasn't done much of anything lately, but still gets enough press to not be forgotten. Maybe Jessica should follow her lead.
Get rid of your creepy dad. And pick up a damn book once in a while.

It pisses me off that a no-talent dunce like her has way more money than me.
The sad thing is when she first started she could really sing! Then she got caught up in the whole ditzy blonde thing from "newlyweds" and became of a joke of her former self. She should have stayed the course, perhaps new management or CLIVE DAVIS is what she needs.
So how long will it be before Tony dumps her?
Oh, too bad...and she and her dad thought she was going to be the next big country music star. What's next - Broadway?
I don't know of a single person who can stand her, so it's nice to know that companies are starting to realize she is not worth the $$$'s anymore. My guess is that with no "career" she will become more needy than she already is and Tony will dump her on the next street corner.
ITA, MontanaMarriott--she really COULD belt out a song back in the day. She had a pretty OK "Christian music" career to begin with, as I recall.

The weird thing is that before her divorce she had deals going here and there. After the divorce everything went down for her.

i couldn't believe my ears. i was like 'is this a joke?' so the fact she EVER had a record contract was always a mystery to me.
If her voice is good or not doesn't matter if she can't remember the words...

never was a fan of her, but since she appeared to have talent back in the day i always figured she'd end up being some celebrated star. like mariah, without all the butterflies. we just got flies instead.
Like Enty said, she had a prime spot on a national tour with a really good, well known band where she could have come out every night, sang, worked the audience, really made a show of it and she blew it!! Do you know how many other acts in Nashville would have killed for that opening spot for Rascal Flatts??? She is just too wealthy to care, too stupid to care, too "in love" to care. Good thing she has the shoe line and the money from ProActiv, because I hope people are smart enough to not give her any more endorsements or opportunities to make more "music". Sorry if I sound really bitter, but it makes me mad when someone like her has been given so many chances and money and us real people work jobs everyday that don't pay crap.

I am with Bebedog but what makes me even angrier ;then Jessica basically not caring about getting all these breaks; is that the studios (both movie and sound) would rather give a celebutard the breaks then someone who went to acting classes and voice classes and struggled working as a waitress & doing auditions for a big break.
i actually feel kind of bad for her. i think pimpa joe pushed her into this country thing, and it hasn't been her cup of tea.
i also think she might be a little depressed, i don't know why, just something i get from her. besides being a creep, i think daddy dearest is probably a bully. and maybe the flak about her fat jeans just was one straw too many.
who really knows?

I feel sorry for Jessica, I agree and think she's depressed. Anyone who's endured douche John Mayer deserves a break. That would depress anybody.
