Chris Brown Case Will Settle By June 22nd
I am guessing that sometime between now and June 22, Chris Brown and the district attorney's office will come to some kind of deal. The reason? Rihanna's attorney said that Rihanna has been subpoenaed to show up and testify at the preliminary hearing of Chris Brown scheduled for that day.
That means Rihanna will get on the stand and start spreading the news. It is one thing to hear rumors and to see the picture of Rihanna, but when she starts talking, things are going to go really bad for Chris Brown really, really quickly. It will be a news media frenzy and there is no way it will ever turn into a positive for Chris Brown. It won't even matter what happens at a trial or if there is a trial because people will remember what Rihanna says at that hearing.
All the hearing is supposed to do is to see if there is enough evidence to take the case to trial. It is a very low burden for the prosecutor and having Rihanna testify about what happens will see that it goes to trial. Chris Brown and company do not want that June 22nd date to go forward. At this point he would probably even plead to jail time because at least them her testimony will not ever occur and no one will ever know exactly what happened. We will have a great idea, but we won't ever know for sure.

No matter what, it seems that having the last name of Brown in the music world predestines you to being an ass (Chris and Bobby cases in point).
I hope she tells it exactly like it happened and doesn't try to protect him...
i think the spell was broken for her when she realized how much she had to lose with her initial reaction. SING it sista!
you're right. he'll cop a deal. it'll be less detrimental to him than if she were to take the stand. wow. it really is about to get interesting.
I fear she either won't show or will testify that it was all a misunderstanding, but I hope that isn't what happens. This guy really needs to go to jail.
Regardless of what Rihanna will say, she already messed up big time by taking him back. She showed her younger fans that it's OK if your boyfriend beats you. Even spilling everything now won't help much. Way to go. He needs to rot in the clink.

I wonder if she will admit to cracking him in the head w/her shoe while driving? Which still gave him no excuse for whopping that ass the way he did....smh
Let's move on from this because the real truth will not be revealed.
if she gets up there and lies, she's in trouble because her early statements can be used to show that's what she's doing.
even without her, they have the goods on him with her statements, witness statements, hospital records and the photos.
they'll settle. and i'm predicting this asshole gets no or very little time. nobody in lala land ever does.
He won't go to jail. He doesn't have a prior record and he's not going to go to jail for an assault charge. Now if he does something else, it might be a different story. But hopefully by then we'll be saying "Chris WHO?"

because of the way he's behaved, they COULD throw the book at him.

I am suprised this tool(CB) didn't just claim he wasn't responsible because of PTSD from his childhood.
That he was temp. insane or some shite.
Can he be put on an island with Jacko,R.Kelly, Josh Brolin,etc... where we don't have to hear from them again?

Ent, you're assuming that her testimony will be that he assaulted her. She may turn mute & not incriminate him at all.
It would be a shame & a slap in the face to all women who have suffered at the hands of a violent partner as well, but not uncommon for victims of domestic violence to do.
I REALLY hope she doesn't do this. But I got 5 on it, that she does.
remember the interview where CB said he hated his step father because he saw the man beat his mom night after night after night. how he would lay awake and just feel the hatred for this man. that molded CB. it doesn't excuse his beating a woman, but it explains it. children cannot grow up emotionally healthy in an emotionally unhealthy environment. and rihanna taking him back SCREAMS help. both of these young people need therapy, lots and lots of therapy. it really saddens me to see 2 such talented young people so damaged. they
