Criss Angel Sued Over A Cat
I will let you decided who is right, who is wrong, and who needs to go out and just adopt a new cat. According to the NY Daily News, there was a couple in Las Vegas that owned a cat. The couple both died of cancer and gave the cat to their son Jeff Beacher who produces shows in Las Vegas. At the time Jeff's parents died he was living in the Hard Rock Hotel and they wouldn't let him keep the cat. So, Mr. Beacher sent the cat to live with a friend until he could find a place to live other than a hotel. The friend he let take care of the cat is Jennifer Madden. At one point Criss Angel went to Jennifer Madden's house and took the cat. Both Mr. Beacher and Ms. Madden protested, but very, very weakly.
Later, Criss phoned Mr. Beacher and said, "I took your cat. He lives with me now. The cat no longer likes you. The cat and I have become close friends."
That last part definitely sounds like something Criss would say. So, you would think Mr. Beacher would demand his cat back then and there. But, nooooo. He waited two years. That phone call was two years ago and now he is just filing the suit. He says in the suit he was too distraught over the death of his parents to worry about it until now. I'm sorry, but I don't really have much sympathy for Mr. Beacher. If he really cared about this cat, don't you think he would have done something by now? I have never taken Criss Angel's side in anything, but at least he seems to have been willing to provide a home for the cat. Ms. Madden didn't really try that hard to get it back. Why would you go after the cat now? What would you do? I say let Criss keep the cat.

Criss sounds like an ass--but he has also taken care of the cat for two years. Even if the cat had liked Mr. Beacher before, it probably won't be too thrilled with him now.
yeah, what's this guy's motive? too bad, but after 2 years, the cat should stay where it is---even if it's with criss angel.

There's lots of spare cats in the world, and as long as you feed 'em they'll pretty much tolerate you, scrawb all your stuuf and make it hairy and smelly, so yeah - get a new cat and try to move on.

Criss said, "The cat no longer likes you". Criss would've had to prove this if the suit was filed two years ago. I mean, that is a really hurtful statement. Emotional stress, defamation of character, you name it...:p
Mr. Beacher should be thinking of all the homeless kitties in the world and move on.
If Jeff Beacher hasn't sent Criss money for the kittie's food and vet bills during the last two years, then the cat should stay with Criss.

Seroiusly if the cat is being cared for by Criss then he should get the cat.
Have animal control check on the Kitty and if it isn't like Parisite's puppies (abandoned and forgotten in the closet)let the cat be with Criss A.

I wonder why Mr. Beacher wants his cat back? Perhaps his inheritance is dependent on his taking care of the kitty.

I actually had someone leave a cat with me for a YEAR and then when he asked for the cat back out of the blue one day I told him to go fuck himself. The cat was happier with me and my other kitties, and I had been supporting the sweet little cutie for all that time. Sorry dude, 's my cat now.

BUT, maybe this guy has been trying to get his cat back for the past two years. Sneaking around Chris´ house, putting out cheese (my cat loves it) leading into a cage, all that stuff. And when that didnt work (simply because the cat doesnt like him anymore) he sued!
If someone had stolen my cat, they wouldn't live long enough for me to sue them.
If the guy has tried to get his cat back over the past two years, then it should be returned. However, if he let the situation slide and only now is trying to reclaim the kitty, then forget it.
I'm with Jerry. If someone took my pet, they'd be toast. I can't imagine not aggressively pursuing it immediately.
I don't care much for Criss Angel, and don't agree that he should've taken the cat, but....
Too little too late, (actually a lot little a lot late), my vote is for Criss to keep the cat.
