Kate Gosselin Says "Everyone Wants My Hairstyle"
I truly was finished with Jon and Kate Gosselin stories for awhile until I saw her quote. I don't doubt there are a few misguided Flock Of Seagulls fans searching for some new hairstyle to follow and chose Kate. Everyone has fans. I mean some people would actually stand in line to meet Mr. Tori Spelling, but it doesn't mean that "everyone wants to meet him."
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, she said,"I have very, very thick hair, so it's not going to work for everybody. I've seen people come through the book line with thin hair and it's just won't work. My hair stylist gets calls from all across the country."
Calls from prison don't count, but at this point I think she will take anything.

If my stylist chopped my hair and gelled it to look like that, I would seriously have to shoot them in the face.

I find that hard to believe, I'm sure this is a throwback from the 80's or 90's. I never watched the show, to be frank the concept didn't interest me, now I'm glad I didn't waste my time on her phony ass.

I've been surprised by the level of misogyny and contempt that very average, very marginal people have for Kate Gosselin. She and her husband seem to spark the worst in people, and the hatred gave their show a lot of attention. I imagine that their new season (beginning May 25) will be very popular, and I suspect that this firestorm of publicity is not really such an accident.

Their show had a huge following BEFORE their shenanigans, the hatred that has developed is just a bonus.
I've actually seen a bunch of moms wearing this hairstyle. Kate's a bitch, but I guess the minimal upkeep of this style keeps it appealing. She's still wearing it because it gets press (just like everything else she does).

I hate this hairstyle, but it is popular. Kristin on the Biggest Loser and Lil Rounds on American Idol had this cut.

Lil Rounds is gorgeous and rocked a different do (weave) every week. I don't look at this do and think of her at all to be honest.
I remeber about ten years ago my best friend used to do her hair this way. At the time a lot of celebs were rocking short pixie cuts.. (winona, halle, and i think gwenyth??), and she used to get me to cut her hair this way. Now, it just looks outdated and tired.

I agree that Lil Rounds is gorgeous, but this is the haircut she wore during auditions and to get herself into the top 13. Then she had her makeover.

Anyhoo, I think its the sense of entitlement that J&K have that has enraged alot of people, it may have something to do with jealousy on the part of some as well.
Whatever the feelings of the viewers, I still say it's a train wreck in the making, and the victims will end up being those kids.

I had no idea who they were before all the "alleged" affairs and then I saw her picture and I thought, wtf is it with that hair, it's as bad as a mullet, it's passé, it's over, why on earth is she wearing her hair that way.
