Evan Rachel Wood & Alexander Skarsgard
Lainey is reporting that Alexander Skarsgard and Evan Rachel Wood are dating. See, the last I looked Evan Rachel Wood was still dating Marilyn Manson. It is hard to keep track of who Evan is dating. Lainey says she was dating Shane West. I know Marilyn has been around in the past month, but Lainey swears that Evan and Alexander have been dating for a couple of weeks now. All I know is that with the track record of Evan, I give this romance about as long as it takes for Evan to move on to a new show from True Blood.
I think Evan just wanted some of that attention that Anna and Stephen get and figured if she was going to pick a guy from the set, Alexander was not a bad choice.

Not entirely sure what he sees in her. He can do better, and he will when this invariably ends. That said, he also could have done worse his first time out in the cesspool of Hwood skanks.

Can we talk about how bad she was acting-wise on True Blood? I get that she was going for the "20s theatrical flapper," but she way totally overacting. The performance may have worked on a stage- Broadway maybe- but it didn't work on the small screen. Sucks b/c that character is so awesome
Marisa - agree 100 percent. She *looked* the part, but her performance was horrendous. I cringed with every line she delivered. Disappointing. Too bad they didn't save the woefully underused but spectacular Kristen Bauer to play the queen.

Long time lurker, first time poster. As long as it's a fun, on-set fling, let 'em have fun. Otherwise, I see him with someone TOTALLY different - can't imagine they have much in common. I don't get her "talent" either. I thought her performance in The Wrestler was awful, and I didn't like her AT ALL as the Vampire Queen. He, on the other hand is sooooo adorable, he's going to have to fight these Hollywood-Skanks off big time. Poor Alex.

As far as ERW goes, she stopped popping on my radar after once she started Shane West. Even TV brothers and sisters shouldn’t date, esp. when on of then started acting on the show as a tween.
He is gorgeous. She is one lucky girl.
I hope she doesn't corrupt him.

Karmen I didn't get it either. But then I decided to watch it all online 2 whole days of Labor Day watching it online (watchxonline.com); and I FINALLY got it. It's campy drama/dark humor with some scares thrown in.
And I have finally come around to Alex as well. I usually don't care for blondes, but he grew on me during the episodes.
He can totally do MUCH better that that bag of skeeze.
However, I don't care for Steven Moyer or how he pronounces "Sookie" like "Suk-ey" it's too much like suck it. TRULY AWFUL Souther accents.

Lisa - the worst accent of all is Tara's. I really wish they'd get rid of her, since she is hardly in the books at all.

I love Eric..as for the Queen, in the books she is described as chic, petite, dark, cold, calculating and highly intelligent. She was turned when she was sixteen, so in my mind she looked like Ellen Page. I can't wrap my head around Evan Rachel Wood being intelligent and gosh knows I don't want to picture her and that tasty morsel Alexander Skarsgard as a couple..ERIC RULES
There is just so much wrong with Alex dating ERW if he in fact is. Forget the fact that she is young and pretty fug and even that she dated (dates?) Manson. Let's concentrate on the fact that she gets fired or not hired on projects becase of her hard core drug use and is spotted coming out of clinics - and not the skin care ones. Not too smart IF true, but I don't believe it for a second.
Alex can do waaaayyyy better. Assuming it's true, let's just hope it's a short-term fling and he doesn't get any diseases

He's nice, humble, and even better looking in person. Why would he date her? She seems as shallow as a puddle and ERW's acting of the Queen was so wooden she could be an oak tree.

I have adored Alex since he was a youngster .. as I have had a huge crush on his dad - Stellan - since the 80's. It's like watching your son come home with a hooker!!
I think all the bad acting more involved bad direction and weak, cliche plot lines this season. Tara's Eggs never noticed that he'd been blanking out after all his time with Maryann until Tara starts blacking out? The convenient out-of-town side stories (Dallas and Church of the Light) for certain regular humans I understand. but why haven't they become black-eyed like the rest of the town? Not all were directly touched by Maryann as far as I know. Who's left that appears immune (and what kind of supernatural will they be revealed as). Haven't read the books so will just have to wait and see. But yes, please do something about the awful southern accents and overdramatized vampires (Bill and the Queen). Much prefer Eric as this season's hunk.

Lovebird, he's a girlfriend-beater, so he deserves whatever he gets.

He was in Lady GaGa's Paparazzi video and you all seem to have forgiven him. So what's a little ERW. It isn't serious. She's far too young for serious.
i really don´t get this whole anti evam rachel wood-thing. mayb its because i´m european and are un-affected of the whole dirt thing? i think she did awesome in tb as one hell of a super-wicked, cynical vampire lady, a great contrast to sexy alex´s more powerful vulnerability. the face on mr eric after erw´s "seducing" tryout was just priceless. love askars! (not in a crazy fangurl way, but in a more mature way :P) he´s an awesome and complex actor and seems to be in person as well, but the corrupted hollywood is behaving a tad bit cynical. he´s just a naive swede (like myself) who looks at the whole dating thing in a rather different way than in america, we can e friends (as well as "friends") with both men and women in a very casual non-dramatic way and even though I doubt he is doing that, i wouldnt regard it as a major thing to wuzz aout if they have een changing saliva or wht. its not serious, and she is crazy at least, maybe he just wanted some exciting days or just thought she was a decent person to hang out with or wth. he is just not judgemental. :)as a swede i dont get the whole wuzz (i realize my lingo is a bit off know, lol, ;) sorry fellas). its not like he is a virgin that now is deflated. :D he still is the really nice, sweet and interesting guy that he is inside. :) we swedes live in such a small place, we are just a tint of naive. in a good way, i think. curious. please, dont e too hard on us you distinguated americans. ;) i just wanted to stand up for this man a little, im not a fan or anything but i can assure you he´s one ell of an actor with much subtleties and nyancees and a supernice, warm fellow. i really hope it will go well for him in hollywood eacuse it is such a change from sthlm. wow long post this.
