Alyssa Milano Wants You To Know She Isn't Pregnant
Once you get married in Hollywood then all that is left for the tabloids is to keep throwing out those pregnancy rumors and hoping that one day they will stick. They just keep trying with whoever is having a bumpish week that week and then keep trying and trying.
Alyssa Milano is sick of it though and wants you to know she isn't pregnant and for everyone to get off the Alyssa is pregnant train once and for all. She wrote on her Twitter page, "Rumors that I am pregnant are still false and still annoying. Please, please, please refrain from retweeting such rumors." I wonder if the reason for her annoyance is that her family keeps calling her and asking if the rumors are true. I mean if not, then what is the big deal? Sure, it is a pain but at least it is a harmless rumor. They aren't accusing her of doing something awful.

The trouble with pregnancy rumours is you don't know who is going through infertility issues, or who may have been pregnant and lost a baby. My husband and I are infertile and told his immediate family when we found out 5 years ago. That Christmas we were shocked to discover that his family hadn't spread the word, so we had to tell the extended family on Christmas Day. Not pleasant, but a brilliant summing up of his family dynamics. Pregnancy rumours are unnecessary and could even be psychologically and emotionally damaging to some celebrities. I hope you ban them.
Pregancy rumors/questions blow whether you are a celeb or just a regular gal, IMHO. I get really mad about this issue. I don't blame Alyssa for getting pissed off. It's so personal. At some point in our celeb/gossip-fueled world it became OK to talk about pregnancy speculation and I so loathe it. What if she's been trying to get pregnant and is having trouble and then she has to fend off this bullshit?? So insensitive. What if she's miscarried. What if her significant other can't have kids? What if they don't want kids. Oh wait, what if this is none of our freakin' business...
Simpler than that. She's self-employed and such rumors affect her marketability.She's right to be annoyed.
Is that her husband standing with her in the photo ? He's quite cute.
