Gerard Depardieu Gets In A Fight With A Car
I don't know if Gerard Depardieu sees things or hear things or if cars just parked on the street make him angry but two nights ago after apparently drinking too much he swayed and staggered down a street outside a nightclub and spotted a car. The car was parked. No one was inside, but, Gerard decided to show the car a thing or two and kicked the car doors and then punched the windshield with his hand. That will probably leave a mark on his hand. Just saying. After he defeated the car, Gerard continued walking to his townhouse down the block.
The police paid a visit to his home yesterday where the actor admitted beating up the car but could give no explanation as to why he did it. Gerard has been ordered to face more questioning at a police station after the holidays. Should the owner of the car decide to file formal charges, Gerard could face a charge of criminal damage.

Hey, he walked home instead of driving drunk. He doesn't appear to have beat anyone up. He can reimburse the car owner. People have done worse things.

my best friend has been known to do this occasionally...once I was taking her through a fast food drive through and she randomly punched my windshield from the inside and cracked it! good times :)
I really like this guy and this does nothing to change my opinion. It sounds like it was funny. He was great in Last Holiday. The key to life is butter.

Regardless of the car incident--one of the best movies EVER is "Cyrano de Bergerac" with GD....the scene between Cyrano and Roxanne in the garden breaks my heart every time I see it. Must be in the original French, though....subtitles are okay, but you need to hear his voice.
Must watch it now.

and several years ago,he went to "cesar"(french oscar") drunk and hid daughter Julie Depardieu(who won 2 prizes this night) was ashamed!
