Gary Coleman Leaves Jail In A Wheelchair
Radar caught up with Gary Coleman as he was leaving jail. He was in a wheelchair being pushed by his father-in-law. Gary says in the video that he was arrested on his warrant because he had missed a court appearance because he was having minor heart surgery. You have to keep that quiet though because if Hollywood finds that out he would have trouble getting work. Whoops. Too late. I don't understand why if he wanted to keep that secret that he was the one who volunteered the information. I do think the wheelchair idea was a good one for giving him some more publicity and some sympathy from the public considering he was in jail for a domestic violence warrant. He says he can't wait to get home to his wife. Really?

Wow - how many kids' lives have been ruined from childhood fame? Of course, there's no excuse for domestic violence, but I'm more sad than anything.
