Unless Alexander, himself, designed it and said "wear this to my funeral", I'd say that's a big NO NO NO NO NO.

Daphne Guinness - cape or not, it's so dramatic and long that she's essentially upstaging the funeral - therefore, it's in extremely bad taste, IMO.
This looks like the kind of funeral a fashion designer might want, but I guess he could care less.

The models are wearing his clothes as a tribute to him very much like someone singing a composers song at his/her funeral.
I'm sure Alexander McQueen is happy with their attire. It's a nice finish to a sad death.
I think it's just the jacket making Rachel look puffy.

I read somewhere that Gwen Stefani was majorly p.o.'ed when she suddenly had a step-daughter and that Daisy and Gavin are now estranged. Sad for the girl and because I like Gwen.
You just know that after the service and the weeping at McQueen's funeral, out came the mountains of cocaine.

I think you are confusing plump with "non-skeletal".
My first thought when I saw those photos of Kate/Naomi/that Guinness bird yesterday was "what disrespectful cows, it's a funeral not a photo op designed to promote your diva-ness"...
...then I remembered that funerals are uniquely personal things, and no doubt Alexander McQueen would have loved that the guests attended in such bitchin' outfits.
The thing that WAS incredibly disrespectful was some of the UK news coverage of his death; filming his body being put in an ambulance and having a helicopter track said ambulance as makes its way to the hospital. THAT'S disgusting.
(Oh and Helena I love you and want you to become my mad Auntie. Come live in my attic and knit me birthday jumpers made of plastic bags! Please!?)
