Wow, Jennifer Hudson looks FABulous! She looked good before too, but now with a slimmer figure she has a better chance of getting more movie roles--sad but true.
I remember after (movie name?) came out, some commentators said "yeah, she was great, but she's not going to get many more roles being that big.

I just saw Jennifer Hudson's Weight Sect commercial the other morning and I almost threw a full mug of coffee at my TV screen. In the commercial, she said that she has never been this size in her adult life, and because of her weight loss, she loves herself more now. So sad and pathetic. I give it two years before she is back to her old weight +30 lbs.
OMG, could Beckinsale look any more desperate for attention? File her under "trying too hard."

Regarding Jennifer Hudson, she looks great and good for her. I've been fat and I've been healthy (not thin, but healthy) and I feel a million times better as healthy.
I just want to roll my eyes at the pictures of Beckinsale and Pataky. Actually, I did.
I also think JHud looks great, but I do NOT think she was ever obese.

@Rocket Queen, you're right, Jennifer Hudson wasn't *that* heavy by normal standards. I'd guess she was maybe a size 16? Which is pretty common outside of Hollywood.
I don't have a problem with people losing weight. But I do have a problem with diets, and especially with Weight Watchers. But what really gets me is that somehow she - and millions of other women - felt like she wasn't worthy of self love because she was bigger. Not fat. She was not obese, and whoever said that needs to get bitchslapped. I think she looks good too, but the whole thing makes me sad and angry.

Personally, I don't care one way or the other, but Jennifer Hudson wasn't even close to obese.
Weight Watcher's is the best weight loss program out there because it's a change in lifestyle, not a fad diet. I don't see how J Hud's, or anyone's losing weight could be viewed as a slap in the face to all overweight people. This body is just a shell - however, it really feels better to go from abusing food to learning how to eat so you feel better physically.
After writing a long post I decided that this comment section is not a good forum for me to spew opinions about diets. Anyone here who knows me knows what they are and I have repeated myself too much about it already. What saddened me and upset me was the wording in the commercial. Because I've been there. I've BEEN THERE. And I have learned that if you can't love yourself when you are big just as much as you do when you're thinner, I'm afraid you're fighting an unwinnable battle.
Is there a duller, drabber colour than Evangeline Lily's dress? Pretty dress in the greyest grey ever.
