Tori & Dean Take The Jon & Kate Route

It seems like every reality show involving a married couple eventually renew their vows. The producers run out of ideas and say lets take the whole family somewhere and the couple can renew their vows. We can make it a four parter and cross promote all our other shows. Say Yes To The Dress being an example.

The Duggars did it, Jon & Kate did it, I think Carmen and Dave did it and now Tori and Dean are renewing their vows. So far this whole vow renewal thing has only worked for the Duggars. To everyone else it was just a free trip somewhere and a short wait to divorce court.

With all of the trouble Tori and Mrs. Tori have been having you wouldn't think they would want to press their luck with the vow renewal thing.

sometimes this can be the kiss of death. Kind of like tattooing your significant others name on your body.

who watches these two?

Not me, captivagirl! I can't stand to even look at either one of them, although I have mulled over whether it's unfortunate the kids look like Dean or lucky they don't look like Tori.

Whatever happened to renewing your vows on a significant anniversary? Seems like it's the thing to do any more, even after just a few months or couple of years of marriage. Do they all do it to receive gifts, or is it just an excuse for a party? Because it never seems to be an enhancement of their commitment to each other.

I will go to my grave thinking he only married her for Aaron's inheritence.

Now that the money train isn't rolling in (Candy will leave it to Hait before giving it to Tori when she croaks).

I bet Dean will lose interest and I give them another 2-3 years. And only becuase they have kids.

At least his ex-wife can enjoy seeing him miserable.

Lame.

You called it, Enty. It's a device around which a show can build an episode. That's about it. Lame and cheapens any real relationship.

Gag!

I agree with everything timebob wrote, and have thougth the same thing since he married her. I mean why would anyone marry her? Certainly not her looks, acting abilities, dazzling personality, nor her interesting and educated mind. She seems as shallow as they come. Phffft!

i didn't even know they still had a show. guess they need to amp the ratings.

meh.

Pookie, the only reason I knew they were still on the air is because there was a clip from their show on 'The Soup.' Does anyone actually watch it? If you like watching train wrecks, there are plenty that are more entertaining than these two.
