Mexico Files Official Request For Bruce Beresford-Redman
If Mexico had just paid a little more attention to Bruce Beresford-Redman they would not have to be going through this right now, but they are. Mexico has finally issued a request for the extradition of the former Survivor producer who has been charged in Mexico with the murder of his wife Monica. She was found in a sewer close to the couple's hotel room.
I remember reading that this was the first vacation for the couple. You would think she would think something was up when first, her a-hole of a husband suggested a vacation for the first time ever, and second that he wanted her to increase her life insurance before they went. All kinds of alarm bells would be going off in my head.
I still also want to know how the guy managed to get back into the US. A hearing is supposed to be held soon about Mexico's request but you know he is going to fight this and drag it out for years even if he is ordered extradited.
He has previously denied any part in the killing. OJ believed him.

It seems that if we had better border controls (as opposed to next to none) that he would have not gotten back in without his passport. He would have been detained on the Mexico side and there wouldn't need to be this extra effort for extradition now.
You would think she saw the alarms go off. Especially the life insurance increase.

you can come across the border in a car or on foot without a passport. zillions do it every day. i've done it myself. that's how he did it---if he'd flown, he would've needed it. they obviously didn't have any bulletins out on him at the border patrol on the border and he came right in.
I hope they get him back to Mexico, those poor kids

The first vacation for the couple EVER???? AND the life insurance? Ummm yeah....red flags fo sure.
We have to have passports or an enhanced DL to get into Canada from Detroit, but not from Mexico to the US? Discrimination!
we cant get into eh US without a passport or enhanced Dl either from Canada.
i stand corrected. this changed last year and i hadn't crossed the bridge since before that.
i'd even read that this is how he came home---on land. so how did he do it? does he have an enhanced DL? and what IS an enhanced DL?
