I Have High Hopes For This Tell All

I have not decided if Tahera Simmons' book about her marriage to DMX will be a tell all or just his version of events. I do have high hopes that she will spill about everything that has gone on and all his arrests and jail sentences and everything else that makes him get arrested so frequently.

The couple married in 1999, have four kids together and she has not left him despite all this. That is why I wonder if she won't say anything and just take his side in all of it. You know, like he didn't know all the dogs were being mistreated or he didn't know he had all those guns in his car, or that Lindsay Lohan was the one who stole everything. Crazy stuff like that.

The book, entitled Strength Of A Woman is her first book. How many of you even knew DMX was married? He sure is setting a fine example for his four kids too.

I know it's harsh, he should be killed. Animal abuser piece of shit.

i wish we were as harsh on people who kill people...say like, dictators...as we are on those that abuse animals. they deserve our wrath too.

Yeah, I didn't know he was married. Used to like his music, dropped any love for him when the animal abuse stuff came out.
My wish for anyone involved in dog fighting is that they are locked in a small room with every dog they ever trained to fight and abused, and who is now mentally and physically ruined.

The best (or worst, depending on the point of view) tell-all hip hop book I've read was the one by Carmen Bryan, in which she tells of her relationship with Nas and having sex with Jay-Z and Allen Iverson.

I didn't know who Iverson was, so I had to google him to know who I was sniggering about.

The stories were pretty vile - nobody came out of it looking good, Carmen included.

The parts that stand out for me are the story of Kelis asking her to have a threesome with her and Nas, and the fact that Nas freaked out when he found out she had fellated Jay-Z.
He didn't so much care about intercourse, but blow jobs? That was too much!

I used to LOVE DMX when he first came out but he has WAY TOO MANY drug problems and will unfortunately never get clean. Its a shame because he was talented. As for his wife, I believe they have been together since they were teenagers or at least in their early 20s so I am not surprised she has stuck around as long as she has she always stuck up for him and stood by his side through all of his problems.

I think the book is going to be a fluff piece. She won't leave him and clearly they need the money.

Just a grab for cash in my opinion.

Too bad the judge wouldn't let him do celebrity rehab. I think that would of been interesting hearing about all his demons.

which one is he?
and pookie, i agree with you. i just happen to stand up for animals because they can't speak for themselves.
bunnies in particular because people consider them disposable pets.

i had to call animal control again yesterday about the next door asshole's pit bull/s. they have one they lock in the garage when they leave in the morning and it's been yipping all day long since march. yesterday it was 105 here. today it hit 107, plus humidity and no breeze. up here, pit bulls are the most common dog to be abandoned and euthanized at the pound. most abused. it's not the damn dog's fault, and i'm not a fan of pitties. my kids have a pit-doxie mix, and he's adorable.
*sigh* i just went on and on again, didn't i?
