Nooooo. Cameron Crowe And Nancy Wilson Divorcing

22 years of marriage is an eternity in Hollywood and I thought Nancy Wilson and Cameron Crowe would be married forever. It was not meant to be though. Nancy filed for divorce yesterday and it is a really sad situation. In interviews and appearances and by their gestures I really thought this couple had what it took to go the distance. Despite Nancy being on the road for months every year and Cameron directing movies, they still managed to find time for each other and their 10 year old twins.

If you don't know who Cameron is, he is a director of some great movies, writers of others and the real life William Miller from Almost Famous. Nancy, is one half of Heart which is one of the greatest live bands ever.

Very sad. I can't find a clip, but their first collaboration was in Fast Times In Ridgemont High which Cameron wrote. Look for Nancy in a car that pulls up alongside Judge Reinhold when he is wearing his pirate hat.

Not a big Cameron Crowe fan, but I have question in regards to relationships:

If a spouse or partner in a relationship/marriage wants to see other people, and they sit down to discuss this with the other. Why does the person wanting to end the relationship get demonized? Does it matter that they are moving on to another person? Thoughts!

Promise not kept. Answer to above.

Isn't this the answer to many, many blinds??? I never would have guessed.

She also scores his movies, for times he doesn't use just the right pre-recorded track.

A real shame since they are two truly talented and legendary people who found and encouraged each other. Like Sarandon/Robbins split.

Oh, that sucks. I was just listening to Heart the other day and thinking about how long they had been married.

I haven't liked some of CC's recent films, but I love Singles and Say Anything. And Heart are just brilliant.

@ rebellious

I think they get demonized because while they want to move on with their life with someone else, (and they have every right to), the other person is now left all alone feeling (possibly) rejected, lost, unwanted and unloved. Its hard being in relationships and when one person is no longer in love then it won't work. It hurts like hell to watch the person you love walk away with someone else, but as they say "whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger"

No big deal. A mature, intelligent couple has decided to split. I hope they both find happiness in their relationships that follow. Good luck!

Wonder what caused the split.

Wow, I just can't imagine. Their marriage was from the outside looking in....scandal free. I hope that they come over what ever it was that caused it.
