Novak Djokovic Is Awful. No, Philipp Petzschner Is
You know, when you go to the US Open there are some serious tennis fans. Apparently they take their tennis very seriously even when the match is Novak Djokovic and Philipp Petzschner. I have never even heard of either of the guys and even I had I doubt that I would be such a fan that I would get into a brawl about them during their match. Well, two fans did just that. Of course maybe they were just fighting over whether they were Team Jacob or Edward.

Oh how I wish I had sound at work. Someone summarize? It just looks to me by the way the guy is gesticulating that he's telling her he's sitting in the right seat...until the guy gets into it.
Proving once again that it's better to just sit down and shut up than get your ass kicked by an overweight 40 year old woman.
@Rocket Queen. According to the report on Drudge the older folks took exception to the young dude's cursing to which he responded by cursing at them to which they responded by kicking his ass.

on a different feed you can hear the vile shit he is spewing at that women...he had it coming. He made a bet on the game and was there screaming Fuck this and that as he was losing. Everyone around them were screaming for security to remove him before and after this.
i don't condone violence but this guy needed a smack in the face and she gave it to him.
i agree that his cursing was tacky, and oddly out of place at a tennis match, but that woman was out of line. i honestly think if she had a problem with it, she should have mentioned it to him quietly, and if he responded negatively, go get security. he seems like a douche bag, but that doesn't mean it is ok to slap him. it was lucky he didn't hit back!
I am actually on the young guy's side on this. He tried to end the conversation several times and they just would not stop. Then the old guy goes and hits him? What right does he have?
Anyone who gets physical loses all validity in my book. And yes, that old man did deserve to fall.

You don't slap another human being. My father, a very strong macho type who taught me women never hit, told me that if a woman slaps, she is indicating she puts herself on his level, and can get the crap beat out of her. If she had slapped me, I would have beat her ass, cursing and all.
Crazy! How about his friend-the guy sitting next to him, gets up and moves back 4 rows. Acts totally not interested in the 'situation'. I bet this happens a lot with his loudmouth friend.
That said the older couple was wrong for getting physical with the douche-bag.
A) Security was slow to respond...what the hell were they doing
B) I think I went to high school with the woman sitting in the row in front of the smackdown
and C) they were super far from the court!
I'm completely on young dude’s side. Old Man River (OMR) touched him first, and than his mistress, Old Lady Bitchface (OLB) wrapped her hands around his throat after OMR fell. I respect my elders, but if they tried to put their hands on me, we'd have issues.
