About two years ago these two stars broke up and the public went nuts. The actress dropped off the radar for a while. What we didn’t know was that she was carrying his baby and the pregnancy was the reason for the split. If we understand our source correctly, neither wanted a baby but she didn’t believe in abortion. The stress of the situation was too big a strain on their relationship and so they split. She had her baby quietly and gave it up for adoption with no one the wiser.

Dana - I like your guess of Ryan Gosling & Rachel McAdams. It seemed like she was everywhere and then dropped off the radar for a bit and now she's everywhere again.
Unfortunately, my first thought was Ryan and Rachel as well.

My 2nd adopted son's birth mother and birth father tried getting back together several times after we adopted him and it just never worked. I think they had too many hostilities and emotions over the whole thing. While they were both young and most definitely made the wise choice allowing him to be adopted (they both still to do a lot of growing up) they were never meant to be a couple. But they did manage to create the most perfectly wonderful little boy in the world! Bless this woman for making such a selfless decision for her child. It must have been very difficult to pull this off while being famous and in a famous relationship. But she made the baby and his new family incredibly happy, I am sure.

I hate this one- my first thought was Gosling/McAdams. I've read interviews where Ryan Gosling has said he didn't think he'd ever want kids.
I think the whole Aniston wants a baby thing is crap. She seems relatively intellegent and I have always suspected that she just didn't want kids. Which, btw, is perfectly ok. I don't know why in the hell everyone thinks women need and want to have children.

Definately Ryan and Rachel.. all "the notebook" fans were heartbroken when they broke up. They were supposed to stay together forever. Ryan was just interviewed talking about his co-star and saying how he doesn't like little kids. Like at all.. but he likes her alot.
Ooh, I'm now liking the Simpson/Romo guess. That would explain her weight gain, too.

It's not Rachel McAdams. After she broke up with Ryan in 2008, she went on to film Sherlock Holmes and dated Josh Lucas in early 2009.

Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman? I remember everyone was upset they broke up, because they seemed so perfect. They never explained why...and then she kinda disappeared.
I just read all the guesses. Out of all the guesses...Silverman & Kimmel / Gosling & McAdams are the only 2 couples breaking up that people cared about. Jessica, Aniston, Rhiana and all the other guesses were in our face non-stop. It's either McAdams or Silverman.
Charlize dropped out of "The Tourist" around the time of breaking up with Stuart what's-his-name. She has been off the radar for a while.
Oh, please not McGosling, and she did date Josh Lucas for awhile in 2009, shortly after she broke up with Ryan the 2nd time. Charlize sounds like a good guess, but did anyone really care?
I'm pretty sure Rihanna and Chris Brown broke up because he beat the shit out of her. And she certainly did not drop off of any kind of radar...*L*
Stuart Townsand was devastated when Charlize broke up with him. I think he would have done anything to keep her. He would have welcomed 20 babies.

Also, just to throw this out there - what if this is Jenny McCarthy and Jim Carrey? Jenny kinda fell off the radar for a bit - now she's come back She's said she doesn't want anymore children and the breakup with definitely public and in the mags.
sarah silverman and jimmy kimmel broke up because he cheated on her so i dont think its them
@Sherry I read the blind as she didnt want the baby either but abortion wasn't an option for her, so adoption was her only choice.

Not Mandy Moore. While it seems she has disappeared to casual fans, I am a big fan of hers, a friend of mine is an even bigger fan, and I can't think of anytime in the last three years when I wasn't hearing about her regularly. She spent time with DJ AM after his plane crash, she was recording an album, then she got married to a different guy, showed up at an Andy Roddick charity event, etc, etc, etc. She's been around.
So far, none of these actresses seems to be someone who dropped off the radar to me except Charlize but I'm not really convinced it's her, although I can see Stuart Townsend not wanting children and regretting having said so.
This Blind is bugging me and I want it solved.
I know this may sound absurd, but hear me out. The only couple I cared about (or was disheartened by their b/u) was Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon.
