I Thought Everyone Knew Jonathan Knight Was Gay
Last Thursday night during the RH-Beverly Hills after show, Tiffany and Debbie Gibson came out and spent a couple of minutes with the fawning Andy Cohen. Not like when he was drooling over Marie Osmond and imagining her doll collection for himself, but still fawning. During the conversation, Tiffany said she had once hooked up with NKOTB member Jonathan Knight and shortly thereafter he came out. Tiffany said she wondered for awhile if she was the one who turned Jonathan gay. Did the news shock anyone? There are organizations out there saying that Jonathan never publicly came out and that Tiffany did the honors. I could have sworn he did come out before. No one seemed surprised and And kind of hinted at it and maybe even asked the question about whether Tiffany turned Jonathan gay.
I don't think Tiffany outed him. Did she?

You have to remember that the media now has ADD and wouldn't make the effort to fact check. It is more excting to make it seem that Tiffany outed him then the truth. Jonathan came out several years ago. But back then boy bands were dead and no one cared.
Now that Boy Band reunions are hot (thanks Take That). It is newsworthy and they are twisting it around to suit there needs.
She did nothing wrong.

No, years ago the National Enquirer ran a story featuring one of his ex-boyfriends complete with photos of the two of them. She didn't out him at all-like timebob says, the media is trying to make a story where there isn't one.
I have a few hardcore NKOTB fans in my circle of friends, so I checked around their internet hang outs over the weekend and the reaction was mixed. The general consensus seems to be that he never officially came out, but most people knew or figured it out and his twitter gives it away sometimes. The only ones who are 'shocked' are the naive fans who are either in denial or just like him so much they don't 'want' him to be gay.
He posted on his twitter for everyone to leave Tiffany and Debbie alone, apparently his bat shit crazy fans went off on both of them.
Is Tiffany really stupid enough to believe she turned someone gay or was she joking?
I can't keep any of them straight (no pun intended). Isn't he the one with social anxiety disorder?
i think it's sucky that tiffany's getting blamed for this. i like her and i can't see her comment as having been mean-spirited or intended to harm, much less out someone...i really hope she has good pr peeps and strikes while the iron is hot. she can totally spin this in her favor. it'll get her press and she deserves it...extra points if she teams up w/ JK and issues a joint statement.
There's a radio show in Tulsa that still plays Tiffany. No joke.

Also, Watch What Happns is a live show. It is not like she could of called them after the fact and ask them to edit it out. You can't unring the bell.

@timebob - I am sooooooooo going to watch that. It is a tradition in my family (between my teen and I, My husband would like to be left out of this) that we watch all the new ones with a giant bowl of popcorn and m&m's and take bets on who dies first. I LOVE SyFy channel. (dont have alot to do in the way of entertainment out here in the stix)

I enjoy the SYFY channel too, but I liked it better when it was SciFi. LOL.

I LOVED DeboRAH Gibson when I was younger too. I loved that Electric Youth perfume, too.
I had heard A LONG time ago that Jonathan K was gay so I don't think Tiffany outed him.

Hey she slept with him, and then stated he was gay. In the real world, happens every day. It's just that we are supposed to care about him, and we dont. He did come out years ago.

I think she made an honest mistake and believed he was officially out.
He forgave her and interacted with her on Twitter telling her not to lose any sleep and that he thought it was funny.
Yah I definitely thought he was out. And not in the Kevin Spacey-everyone knows but he doesn't talk about it kind of way, but like, properly out. I guess if you don't come out on the cover of People magazine, you're not "officially" out. Rabid NKOTB fans need to get over it, as if he was going to marry you anyway!
