No Rob Lowe For Two And A Half Men
The cast of Parks And Recreation was doing some promotion for their show over at Paley Fest. Oh, before I forget, on Saturday they did the True Blood promo for the same event. Well, after the radio show, I was out and drove by the place at like 10am. Lines of people and the show did not start for hours and hours. Those True Blood fans are a loyal bunch.
Anyway, even though it was an event for Parks & Recreation, Charlie Sheen's name came up. Not the fact that he is suing for $100M and to get paid, but whether or not Rob Lowe would be leaving Parks & Recreation to head over to Two And A Half Men. Not going to happen. It looks like Rob is sticking with Parks & Recreation. As a fan of the show, I then am asking myself what is he going to do? His time as whatever he is from the state has come to an end so maybe he will be a new City Manager or something? It also seems to me that maybe Rob would like to move into a bigger role and a bigger paycheck, but that is not going to happen. Maybe next year the show will be One And A Half Men with a crazy neighbor who streams himself live every night on the internet.

I don't like Rob Lowe. AT all! People would quit watching if he were 'the guy'. I still think it needs Rob Schneider, but not in a Charlie role, but his own funny person role.
I think it will be more like a Michael J Fox type person. I sure would like him to do it, since Charlie did it for him.
James Spader, maybe? Although that would be he and Ducky together. Probably wouldn't work.
Jack Wagner might be funny.
Freddie Prinze Jr could do it. Luke Perry, Scott Wolf.

I've waited in that same line for Queer as Folk years ago. I love Paley Fest.
I still think Ryan Styles character could move in with Jon Cryer while Charlie is away at Rehab.
Robe Lowe is awesome on Parks & Rec. If Matt LeBlanc wasn't so awesome on Episodes he'd make a great substitute.
TMZ mentioned that Rob grew up with Sheen and his family, so there was a personal conflict with the decision.
It's true. Us "True Blood" fans are crazy over the show.
I've been saying for years they need to rename "Two And A Half Men." Even before Charlie went crazy. Have you seen that little kid lately? He's as big as Berta the housekeeper.
Jamie's girl just put forth an interesting suggestion. Rob Schneider. I know he's made all those dopey movies and the only things he does now are supporting parts in Adam Sandler movies, but I'm reading Jay Mohrs book about his time at "SNL" and Rob really took the writing of that show seriously.
So who knows?
Just cancel it already. Jesus. Anyone else ever hear of ripping a bandage off in one swoop?
The show won't work without Charlie and I hate to say it. Cancel it and move on people.
I like Rob Lowe. And he was fantastic on Californication.
