Nick Lachey Hoping To Stop His Losing Streak
The last time Nick Lachey decided to air his wedding for television, those nuptials did not last all that long. Apparently he thinks he can break his streak because Nick and Vanessa Minnillo decided they needed some attention and some cash and have sold everything to TLC who are going to air some kind of special. This is also the reason for the joint wedding shower, the separate bridal shower, and the lather up shower which will only be seen on pay-per-view. The fact that it is also on TLC could also mean that Vanessa is expecting sextuplets.

Other than Nick being in a d-list boy band over a decade ago and being the former Mr. Jessica Simpson, I have no idea what he actually does. Never seen or heard of Vanessa in any context. Who ARE these people?
I don't understand why anyone cares about these two--especially Vanessa. At least Nick was in a band. Has Vanessa ever done anything? Do people even know who they are? How? Why? I just do not understand.
One is considered a streak?

i like nick lachey. but then, 1998 was a good year for me, so maybe i associate the two.
i've never thought vanessa was his true love...rather, the rebound girl that stuck around. i really think this guy is just afraid of being alone. i think he's settling, and that makes me sad. he's not a bad dude. idk wth this reality wedding seel-out thing is, but i'm betting vanessa thinks good things are going to come from it. i personally think the ratings will be embarrassing.

I can't stand Vanessa -- she's nothing but a starfarker. I've never seen her actually "work." Ninety percent of the photos of her, she's off somewhere in a bikini on "vacation." I ask you, if you don't work, what are you "vacationing" from? Also, my brother -- who lives with me -- is a big fan of the show "Wipeout," and I just read where this waste of space is going to be taking Jill Wagner's place on the show. Arrgh! I don't really watch it myself, but now I don't even know if I'll be able to stay in the room while it's on.
I always hated boy bands even when I was a tweener. And I especially dislike boy band members who won't go the hell away. It ain't 1999 anymore, Nick! Stop trying to stay famous, jeez! And I have literally no idea what Vanessa Minillo has ever done to be "famous", literally no idea at all.
She's a VJ...right? Or something from MTV? Isn't that how they met?
She seems like she'd be too high maintenance for him (not that JS wasn't but look how that worked out)? After Newlyweds and the divorce, I didn't think he'd ever showcase his own wedding/marriage again.
how much did Nick get from the divorce with Jessica? They had no prenup right? Hope he has one with Vanessa!
