Random Photos Part Three

Former FBI informant, and their number one most wanted fugitive, James Bulger was arrested last night in Santa Monica after 16 years on the run.
He inspired the character played by Jack Nicholson in Departed.
Best picture of Amber Heard ever. She has come a long way since her death pictures.
Yeah, you are way cool Avril.
This photo is the definition of cool. Brad Pitt looks great.
Love the girl behind Camille explaining to the world who she is. No one knows unless you watch RHBH.
Great pictures, but not going to help. The only way to get people to stop is increase the tax to $15 a pack. Then the tobacco companies would focus on hooking the rest of the world.
Now I want a Popsicle.
Ahh it is a group of drunk wet and rowdy kids in mud. Must be Glastonbury.
Halle Berry goes grocery shopping? Have you ever seen her shop before?

Camille and one of the other Housewives presented at the NHL awards show. They were horrible, didn't pronounce the winners name right and had no business being there. They clearly had no idea what the award was for and I'd be amazed if either one of them had ever seen 10 seconds of a hockey game. It made me irritates with the NHL for even asking them. GRRRRR....

mandy said...

Sorry, "irritated". I make typos when I get agitated :)

It pains me to say this but I really like Avril's bikini!

Brad Pitt has been looking brutally hot lately. He's the only guy over 45 y/o that I feel as a 28y/o I could date and no one would call it a daddy issue thing, ha!

And those cigarette warning lables remind me of the Dennis Leary stand up special where he is smoking up a storm and saying that people could make the labels bigger and just print the word DEATH on them with a big skull and crossbones and people who smoke would still line up and pay for it. LOLOLOL! I dont smoke but I for one know that cigarette smokes arent gonna be phased one bit by this, they'll just see it as more harassment. However if this helps some younger impressionable teens decide NOT to reach for that pack of smokes than it totally is worth it to me.

Oh, and the look on that girl's face whilst holding up the Camille Grammer sign EXACTLY represents my sentiments on the plastic windbag herself.

Am I missing something about these Amber Heard death pictures?

nancer said...

you should all pray not all smokers quit. where do you think they'll get those taxes from then, hmmm?

Murphy Brown 2020 said...

Fergie is hideous, as per usual.

Avril is insufferable, as per usual.

I don't even think that significantly raising taxes on cigarettes will make people stop smoking. If someone is hellbent on maintaining his habit, he'll toss out 20 bucks for a pack. He'll just go without a meal or two if necessary.

I also hope that tax dollars weren't spent on those new advertising tactics, because they're useless. Every smoker I know is in some pretty hardcore denial; even the people who've watched their loved ones perish in terrible, nicotine-related ways still light up and ignore the consequences. People only quit when they're ready to do so -- no amount of striking advertising is gonna do jack shit.

I still can't believe that cigarettes are even legal, honestly. Personal freedom is fine and all, but NOT when you're damaging your children, pets, coworkers, and the people unlucky enough to share your personal space with your deadly, heinous, asthma-inducing secondhand smoke.

The local hospital near my house has an area under a bridge (and RIGHT next to a bike path) where all the nurses and orderlies can get their fix during their downtime. Seriously? I don't even think that you should be *allowed* to smoke and remain in the health care industry. If you have so little regard for your own health, what gives you the right to care for other people?

Sorry. I know I sound militant, but I've watched at least three people die from lung cancer. Luckily, I also know dozens of people who were wise and strong enough to quit and save themselves. Or, they saved their lungs, at least.

Supposedly, somebody spotted Whitey Bulger coming out of a movie theater in San Diego showing The Departed when it was first released, in 2006. Hubris!

Brad sure had his day but for me, in recent years, he seems to be trying way to hard.

Can't see it anymore.

Melanie said...

Damn Brad looks really sexy! What a great picture.

Here in New Zealand, they have really graphic pictures of what happens to you when you smoke, such as a picture of a smoker's lungs compared to healthy lungs, and a smoker's mouth with their teeth all falling out and the remaining ones black. Still doesn't stop people from smoking. I have never seen the appeal of smoking, and I really hate it when people smoke around me. Yeah, yeah it's their right to do so, but what about my right to breathe clean air? Why is a smoker's right more important than mine? If you want to kill yourself with smoking, go right ahead, but don't try to take me with you.

Melanie said...

I meant to say they post these pictures on the cigarette boxes. They are pretty big pictures too.

MISCH said...

Halle only food shops or takes the baby out when she feels she needs a photo op.....

Cigarettes are $12 per pack in New York.....I don't smoke but the price alone should stop people.

Angie sucked the life out of Brad...he's a mere shadow of what he was...and she isn't looking all that great either...sooo skinny. I like thin, but there's a limit..it can't be healthy.

ablake said...

I think smokers won't pay attention to the labels. Maybe at first just for the novelty but it's kind of like passing a billboard every morning on your way to work. Notice it once and then pretty much tune out.

I don't get the whole Avril hate. Sure she was a bratty teenager but I haven't seen anything in the past few years of her being a bitch. I give her respect for at least writing her own stuff and not getting arrested, a pass I wouldn't dream off giving the likes of Hilton or Lohan.

Pitt has the little lord fauntleroy thing going with that hair.

RocketQueen said...

They have those pictures on Canadian packs too, Melanie.

Personally, I'm becoming one of those people who grimaces and is even annoyed at the smell of smoke on public sidewalks now. Having grown up with a smoking father and going to smoking restaurants, I'm becoming increasingly intolerant. I shouldn't have to inhale someone else's poison!

Taylor said...

Is this your first time seeing Amber Heard, lol? She has hundreds of stunning photos from events. And I don't know what you mean by "death photos" either. Are you mistaking her with Evan Rachel Wood?

maggiemei said...

Why is THAT the best Amber Heard pic? There are much better pics out there. Amber is a hot piece. I am a straight chic, and I think she is gorgeous.

And I have no idea what he means by her death pictures. Anyone have a clue?

does that girl follow Camille around at all times?

"This photo is the definition of cool."

Yeah, um, except for the giant sweaty armpit over Brad's right shoulder....

and I'm glad they finally caught Bulger. That is one evil SOB...

@MISCH - $12 a pack?? Holy cow!

I'm enjoying the look on the guy's face, two people over from Pitt.

My place of work will not hire smokers, it's great really because there are no smoker cliques that go for their numerous breaks outside. No-one reeks of tobacco.

Just want to say I totally agree with Ida Blankenship about cigarettes, and pwner re: Whitey Bulger.

I'm a nonsmoking emergency room nurse practitioner, who doesn't care for smoking at all; however, I realize I work in a highly stressful, occasionally soul-crushing occupation and feel that my fellow healthcare professionals should be allowed to deal with their occupational stress in whatever way they feel is best suited to their lives. I relieve my work stress by participating in adult recreation teams and target shooting with a 9mm, but I also realize that after a 12-36 hour shift, the occasional five minute smoke break can be the difference between doing your job well and burning out for some people.

I read somewhere once that when the price of cigarettes becomes too high, rather than inducing people to quit, they merely cause them to start buying them on the black market.

Brad is looking good! There was a pic of him in US Weekly, wearing the same clothes, with the description that he was wearing "futuristic khakis." That description still cracks me up. What, exactly, makes khakis futuristic?

I used to smoke, quit a couple of years ago. I never smoked more than maybe 5-6 cigs a day (even my doctor said that wasn't a big deal *LOL*) but still. Now, when I sit next to a a smoker on the train or someone lights up next to me on the street, all I can think is "I can't believe I used to SMELL like that!". I just didn't know how gross I was - and the majority of my friends smoke so it's not like any of them ever noticed.

Amber is a gorgeous woman.

That's the best Brad has looked in a LONG time.

I'm so sick of that stupid scarf on Brad. Please tell me it is a movie set and he is in character. So over the world traveler look. We get it Brad and Angie. We totally get it.

I co-sign what TCL,H said. My mom is a triage nurse and she smokes like a chimney, lots of them do. I guess when you have to look at victims of horrific accidents for 12 hours at a time, you do what you can to a) keep it together, and b) stay awake.

I have never wanted to F Brad Pitt so much before. He looks amazeballs.

Cigs are already about $14 in NYC- doesn't stop us!

PS- Enty, never made it to LA this week- had LA office staff instead. Next time I'll let you know!

Marisa said...

PS The waaaaaambulance called, smoker-haters.

Do you really not realize that your car emissions are 12X worse than secondhand smoke?

Just one of many other pollutants out there.

Murphy Brown 2020 said...

@Marisa -- "Do you really not realize that your car emissions are 12X worse than secondhand smoke?"

That's partly why I ride a bike.

I just love smoker's indignation. It's adorable. ;-)

Marisa said...

Thanks, Ida.

If everyone started riding bikes and stopped having so many kids, the world would be a much better place. Way to go!

Time for a smoke!

There is actually *nothing* incorrect about that statement.

Hope you enjoyed your cancer/emphysema stick! You sound cranky. I'm sure you needed it.

XOXO,

Ida

In Australia, cigarettes are already over $15 a pack - in fact, I paid nearly $20 while drunk the other night for a pack of 25s. Hasn't stopped people from smoking. The Government here is planning to make the tobacco companies sell cigarettes in plain packaging with just the shock photos. I've bought a Glomesh cigarette case in preparation.
