Slow News Week - Emily Maynard Gets A Cover
When you think about the fact that there are 52 weeks a year for tabloid covers and some are devoted to regular things like Sexiest Person Alive and that stuff. Then, you have the obligatory 10 Jennifer Aniston covers and the 10 Angelina Jolie covers and then the 10 Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie fighting over Brad Pitt covers. Throw in 5 or 6 Kardashian permutations and that does not leave you many weeks. Somehow though Emily Maynard got on this week's cover of People. Huh? Everyone knows that she and Brad Womack split a long time ago. You needed to give her a cover to confirm that? I'm guessing she is going to be on DWTS or some other reality show and this was to keep her in the spotlight until that happens. I mean the story is worth about what I am spending on it. Is it really worth a cover?

I was shocked to read the ratings of this show last week - they're incredibly high and were higher than some huge show I was excited about that just premiered. I had no idea. I guess People knows what people are watching, and just cause I can't stand this crap, doesn't mean a lot of other people feel the same way.
I'm sooooo proud to have NO clue who that woman is.
How about dedicating a cover to that poor little boy whose story horrified us all yesterday -- along with an accompanying article about CPS is a frickin' joke in most states?

Apparently she just taped an interview to air on the Bachelor: After the Final Rose. I assume People paid the Bachelor franchise a pretty penny for the exclusive. That's why they couldn't admit they broke up months ago, whenit was obvious to those of us with a brain and two eyes.
And People has at least 2 slots a year for the Bachelor franchise - one for the new couple to celebrate their "love", and one to announce their breakup.
If they'd given the cover to Peter Falk, I would have purchased it. Or at least read it quickly in the checkout line.

Reality Steve says no way would Emily be the next Bachelorette, but judging by the comments some of the guys made from Ashley's bunch, Em would be a popular choice. After ditching his final two, I think karma caught up to Brad in the form of a sweet Southern belle.
Does ABC own People mag? Wouldn't be surprised if they did.
I cannot believe this shit show is still on, that people are stupid enough to watch it. This includes some friends of mine.
I have no clue who these tools are, and I watch a LOT of crap tv.

Wait, I thought Emily had really blonde hair? I guess I get all these people mixed up. Oh right because I don't care who they are.
