Katy Perry And Russell Brand Protest Way Too Much
I think anyone who reads any gossip or tabloids has heard that Russell Brand and Katy Perry are not long for this world as a relationship. Heck, I have even written things. Yes, they mostly have been blinds, but it is no secret the couple have only spent a few days together in the past six months and I don't care who you are, that is tough to make it through. When you are Russell Brand and a guy who used to have sex with multiple women everyday for years on end, do you really honestly, think in your heart he has gone cold turkey for six months? I have no idea about Katy. I bet that if there was a certain woman who came out and said something about Russell that several others would as well.
Now, what would be great is if Russell and Jennifer Lopez suddenly started dating. That would be hilarious.

I really like Katy, so this makes me sad.
I want them both to go away. Any woman who marries a sex addict who thinks he will be faithful is just deluding themselves.

I thought I'd be the only one who'd admit to liking them together (and quite honestly, separately). And I know she's pure bubblegum schtick, but I like the girl. And I kinda fell in love with Russell in Get Him to the Greek and when he hosted SNL.

Everytime I hear about shit like this my little girl belief in happily ever after is further tarnished.
Sometimes I feel like every single celeb couple has a spouse who's cheating.
I think when we guessed Tom Hanks for that Blind about the guy who keeps a mistress or something, that was the straw that broke the camels back for me.
I still believe in couples being happy for life, but I no longer EVER look at anyone Ive seen in the media and trust that they have something special.

I like them both together as well, they seem like they have a lot of fun and a strong connection.
I cried when I watched that awards show performance she did when video footage of their wedding was projected onto a large wedding dress. That seemed like a sweet/personal moment and I love how she shared it with everyone.
She's a complete and utter douchebaguette but I like him. Never really understood what he saw in her (although I do agree that she has fantastic boobs). I don't know about the cheating - it does seem improbable that a guy like him would be able to stay faithful, but people do change. Or, in some cases, people have deals with their spouses that allows them to distribute their dick outsdie of the marriage. Who knows.

I too like Katy & Russell together. A lot of folks put Katy down but she seems to be having fun and making a good living so whats to hate.

I like them together too, but at the same time expecting Russell to be faithful is like expecting night not to come. It doesn't help that Katy's been promoting her album and tour since last year - this is the main reason they've spent so little time together, because she's working. And this is the reason I also question why celebs bother. They have such erratic work schedules and they're known for their general lack of willpower + getting swept up in their current state of emotion that it's virtually impossible to make any long-term relationship work.
How do we know Katy expects him to be faithful?
I watched some of the Katy Perry story on the E the other day.
I have to say I really admire her tenacity to stick with and all the ups and downs she went through to achieve her dreams. Also I think she is a great singer.
Also I understand Russell had a pretty horrid upbringing, but he has achieve great heights.
I thought there backgrounds to get where they are at, would provide them with enough of a connection and understanding to stay together. Although being apart so much would be hard.
If they break up, and it is not to explosive, maybe they will reconnect at another time in life.
