Lauryn Hill Calls Rohan Marley, Mr. Marley
Guess what? Turns out that Lauryn Hill wants all of us to know that Rohan Marley didn't dump her while she was pregnant with his baby. Nope. He dumped her while she was pregnant with another guy's baby. So, now I guess, much like Steve Buscemi's character in Billy Madison, I have to cross off Rohan from the bad guy list. Oh yeah, I threw out a Billy Madison reference. That one scene alone is worth the rest of the movie.
Anyway, Ms. Hill as she refers to herself released a statement which can be seen above. Basically she is saying the kid is hers and hers alone and she implies but does not actually say that she and Rohan were on a break when she got pregnant. I guess that means they were not on a break because she is pretty clear about everything else she wants us to know. I wonder who the dad is. I wonder if the dad knows he is the dad. Anyone who had sex with Lauryn Hill between 9 and 10 months ago, please step forward. So, Rohan you are forgiven.

That's not how it read to me at all. I didn't make the jump from 'he did not abandon me while preggo' to 'i had an affair and got knocked up from another man'
(( btw I'm totally biased - years ago, when the Miseducation was really big and i was an adoring 16y.o. fan, I somehow lucked into spending a weekend with LH RM and the whole family, even little baby zion! Yes, I'm bragging and name dropping, so I'll go to time out when I'm done sharing... but I had the best experience with them. They were just the sweetest most amazingly normal family. They had no reason to spend so much time with us or any time at all for that matter, but they made my sister, cousin, and I feel like the coolest kids on earth.))

Well, I guess she is admitting what Rohan has been saying. He is not the Baby Daddy. My apologies for thinking he was a scumbag.
"...our 5 children" says it all. The "new son" has a different daddy.

I bet we will have a new Lauryn Hill album soon. Six kids aren't cheap.

but...she hasn't been fit to tour...i hope to god she's fit to parent.
My sister is friends with a dude who used to tour with her as her drummer. (He may have also done some studio work, but I'm not sure.) Anyway, the only thing this guy would EVER say about LH is that she is "batshit crazy." He won't give any details at all (confidentiality agreements?), but he basically says, "Yeah, all that nutty stuff you hear about her doing/saying? All true." Totally different experience from what PM described above, I realize, but perhaps "Home Lauryn" and "Work Lauryn" are two completely different people(?).

God love her, but she is a lil crazy!
