Matthew Fox Punches A Woman?
Matthew Fox was detained by police in Cleveland after being accused of punching a woman in the stomach after she demanded he get off a party bus. The woman, who was driving the bus says that Fox tried to get on the bus but he was not a guest. She advised him to leave and that is when she accuses him of punching her in the stomach. Fox was handcuffed and detained, but not arrested. A police report was taken. If true, this would basically destroy his reputation in about five minutes. If he did do it, they should lock him up.

Actually the reports I read were that he was punching her in the breasts and crtoch. Also that she didn't press cahrges right away (maybe thats why he was released to a friend?) but that she's meeting with prosecutors today. I hope she presses charges I am shocked that he did this and disgusted with him and the police for just releasing him. I really thought he was one of the "good guys".
wtf? This just sounds bizarre. Since he wasn't arrested or charged, I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt.

After reading the story on TMZ I am 100% calling BS on this. That woman saw a chance to make some money when a very drunk Matthew Fox stumbled up. She heard CHING CHING!
This seems so bizarre. It would be really hard to punch a woman in the crotch unless she was really tall and he was short, which he isn't.
Maybe I don't want to believe but I'll wait for more info. Also, Dads shouldn't be getting on party buses.

There have been rumors before that he has a serious drinking problem. Hitting a woman in the crotch and stomache would seem to confirm that. Wow.

As much as I always want to take it seriously when a woman accuses a man of violence, in this case I'm going to have to stay unbelieving until I see a video.
He's pulled other crap that he always denies.
I totally believe this. The bus driver may be trying to cash in but, ka-ching. He had no right to be such an asshole.
He's not famous enough to have all his bad behavior covered up. He'll have a lame excuse eventually when his hangover eases up.
It wouldn't be at all difficult to punch a woman in the crotch if she was standing up in the bus, by the door, and the person doing the punching was in the bus stairwell or on the street/sidewalk.
That detail actually lends more plausibility, but I'm not sure what to think.
Doesn’t surprise me in the least. My co-worker’s sister was part of the crew of Lost and he was so rude and belligerent to those who were trying to do their jobs. He thought he new everyone’s job better than they did, including the stunt people. Gave this to my co-worker and she LHAO!
I will be giving the bus driver the benefit of the doubt. This is not the first time I've heard of this guy being an ass, plus I'm sure he'll have enough "ZOMG BUT HE'S SO HOT!" supporters behind him.
I suspect that the driver is making herself out to be more innocent than she was - this was probably an argument between both of them that escalated - but I have no doubt that he assaulted her, and he should have to pay the consequences. Who knows, maybe the blow to his 'nice guy' reputation and a little jail time will give him a wake-up call.
Wasn't there a blind about him before? Or one people guessed was him?? I was thinking it was cheating/drinking related?
Anyhoo...I'm sorry to hear that he is (allegedly) a db in real life. I have loved him since he was Charlie Salinger. :(
A "party bus" in Cleveland?! Oh ff*ck, he should just kill himself. What circle in Dante's Inferno does that merit?
Clevelander here. Fox was at a strip club one night after filming "I, Alex Cross". Apparently he was drunk & going up to busses asking if they could drive him back to his hotel. He tried to get on a bus that was rented out to a private party visiting the club. The driver barred him from getting on at the door and he punched her several times in the torso, since she was still on the bus. She punched him in the mouth, he started to attack again. By this time people on the bus & other drivers came to her rescue. An off duty cop working security at the club detained him for awhile but he eventually caught a cab to his hotel.There were lots of witnesses. She's pressing charges.
I'm so pissed at him. I'm one of those people who has a hard time looking at someone the same after something like this, and damn it Jack is my fucking favorite character of all time! And I'm so partial to re-watching LOST! Damn you, Matthew Fox. Way to potentially ruin one of my favorite things.............
