I saw a Pan Am promo while waiting for Horrible Bosses to start. As much as I like Christina Ricci, I think the show will flop.
It's unabashedly trying to latch onto the early 60s reflection craze started by MM. MM is smart because it contrasts all of the countercultural tide that mainstream whites didn't recognize until it was right next door (at which point they then tried to cash in on it).
Pan Am appears to be content in acknowledging the world of business and the jet set lifestyle and that's about it. Who cares what's going on with those pesky African American leaders in Alabama...how does a flight to 1965Paris sound? Is that Liz Taylor I see canoodling with Mr. Burton?
I can see a lot of people checking in for an ep or two and thinking: huh, nice sets, nice costumes, and that's about it.

I agree, Daniel Craig looks...well, mean comes to mind. He has a harsh arrogant cold face and I dont find him or those types of men attractive.
If you look at Christina Ricci's arm in the pic you can tell how thin she really is. Half of her upper arm is thinner than the lower part of her arm above and below her elbow. I know this seems odd to point out but sometimes when the angle is just right (like here) you can actually see how thin these people really are. I'd say she was 10-15lbs lower than her body weight should be.

When you say "finally" get a star on the Walk of Fame, do you mean "finally" as in deservedly or "finally" as in, "so you finally scraped together enough cash to buy this and your facelift scars have healed enough to be out in public?" Because if it's the second one then yeah, finally.
This year's SYTYCD was almost anti-climatic because Melanie was so clearly the winner, pretty much from the beginning. SHe's a freshman in college. I wonder what her life will be like NOW.
I haven't enjoyed Christina Ricci in anything since she was 12. "Opposite of Love" was a grinding chore, and I made it two minutes into her more mature films. She's just not a movie star -- she's a celeb.

Christina Ricci is really tiny, like 5'1" or 5'2". She's a petite girl and therefore small framed. She's tiny, yes, but 10-15 lbs underweight? She'd have to be 90 lbs for that to be true...
Beckham is probably just manstruating. That would account for the bloat.
