Chris Tucker Must Be Out Of Money
It has been four years since Chris Tucker was last seen in a theatre near you. The actor, who basically has spent a career living off Rush Hour paychecks, must finally realize he might be waiting a long time for another sequel in that franchise and his hope for a Money Talks sequel is not going to pan out. I actually think he should make a Friday movie with Ice Cube, but instead will do a movie with Robert DeNiro and Bradley Cooper. Did you know that in the last 13 years, Chris Tucker has made 3 movies. That is why television actors want to get into movies. Three movies in 13 years and everyone still knows his name. That is what, 6-9 months of work in 13 years and he probably made $25-40M. I wonder if he goes back to work when he misses it or when he thinks he needs a paycheck.

Well at least he is not one of these bullshit actors who claims to do it for the art of the craft and other than when he is working you don't hear alot from him a la Blowhan
I think he has made the life I wish I had...work now and then, and do whatever I want the rest of the time! Smart guy.
Funny. I just saw Money Talks this weekend and was asking friends what happened to him.
He is probably pretty smart with his money and is enjoying life. Good for him.
Tucker has always been a paycheck actor. He's fairly honest about it. And since he's rarely in the tabloids beyond working, I assume he's not getting into major trouble. By many accounts, Tucker has invested pretty well and lives the life many of us dream about. Kudos to him.
And for the record, I still say YOU GOT KNOCKED THE F*** OUT! on occasion in honor of Smokey from Friday
My husband and I were just talking about him the other day and how great an actor he is, especially in the Fifth Element. He's doing stand-up and is on tour now. Love that he didn't get caught in the backed into a corner doing the same character cycle that a lot of actors do...
OMG I FORGOT HOW MUCH I LOOOOOVED HIM IN THE FIFTH ELEMENT! LOL
He is the main reason I watch Fifth Element -- he was funny as hell in that movie.
Love Chris Tucker...I've lost count how many times I've watched Money Talks....love when he tries to come off as Vic Damone jr.

I had no idea the Rush Hour movies made that much money! I LOVED him as Smokey in Friday.
He sounds like a smart guy who knows what to do with his big paychecks. Other actors should take a lesson from his playbook.
Given that he made $20 mil for "Rush Hour 2" and $25 mil for "Rush Hour 3" alone, I seriously doubt he's run out of money unless he invested it with Bernie Madoff, but we have no reason to believe he did because it wasn't reported.
Smokey is one of my favorite movie characters. LOVE HIM!
