Jimmy Fallon Brings Balls In Your Mouth Back

Last year Jimmy Fallon wrote a song about the BP tar balls and it was funny and he would bring it out and have guests sing it with him sometimes. He retired it for awhile but with the tar balls starting to wash up on shore again, he brought the song out and go Eddie Vedder to sing it with him.

Sigh. I love Eddie Vedder.

Basically, I *only* want Jimmy Fallon to sing everything like Neil Young. Seriously. Can't you hear Neil's reedy voice trembling out the phrase "balls in your mouth"?

But I ADORE Jimmy. I love any great mimic. If he and Tina were to return to do Weekend Update on SNL, I'd set my alarm for 11:55 every single Saturday night. What? I'm old(ish).

Saw it last night and it's been stuck in my head all day. Love EV and PJ so this was a nice surprise!

Ya, I loved Jimmy on Weekend Update!

Eddie Vedder is the man! I saw Pearly jam a couple of years ago in San Diego (my hometown, also a place where Eddie called home) and the show felt so 'homey' and intimate, even thought the venue was large.

He told the best stories and even had had his guitar teacher and the drummer's teacher come out on stage for a jam session.

Also, a member of his stage crew brought his 16 year old daughter Lulu to show to celebrate her 16th birthday and Eddie had everyone sing to her. He told the story of when her father took her home from the hospital after she was born on a rainy day in Seattle. He handed baby Lulu over to Eddie while he ran out to get the car. There was Eddie, in the rain, holding a tiny newborn, in all his alternative grungeness. What a moment. So cute!

They are a tight group.

Also, his new CD "Yukulele Songs" is absolutely awesome!!!!!

Jimmy Fallon does a great Bob Dylan too. Jimmy Fallon doing Bob Dylan singing the Charles in Charge theme song is so good.

LOVE IT. My husband's favorite band is Pearl Jam (he's seen them 5+ times), so I will have to show him this later.

Jimmy really does some spot on impersonations and he does them really, really well.
