Sharon Osbourne Had Leaky Breast Implants

Sharon Osbourne showed back up on The Talk and said the reason she was gone for a bit is that one of her breast implants had started to leak. Apparently she woke up one morning and her breasts were lopsided and one was bigger than the other. The doctor said it was leaking so Sharon had them removed. I knew saline implants can leak or even rupture, but I assumed that after everything that went on at the beginning of time with silicone breast implants that they had devised a way where they would not leak anymore. I guess I was wrong. Anyway, Sharon says she is all natural now and squeezes them to show us in the picture above. Is that another hand coming in for a squeeze too?

glad she had them out. Those things can be bad for your health, if you believe the women on health forums who've had problems. To each their own, and all, but the leaking thing is scary. Maybe the saline kind are less of a potential hazard if they leak?

Having had a breast reduction myself, the idea of wanting bigger breasts is just beyond me.

I never had the need, luckily, but if it makes you feel better about yourself, I can see why girls do it.

Haha, I'm with you RQ - but I do understand the pressure to look perfect and I get why women get it done. I have to say that the idea of having a foreign object implanted in my body makes me cringe, though. Plus, I think small breasts are really cute. And it seems more practical if they fit in one cupped hand, am I right, guys? *L*

lol Maja - I know you feel me! And seriously, it's nice to be able to try on clothes that actually FIT in the chest area...but I'm guessing that clothing has been adjusted outward in that area in the last decade or so to make room for all the implants I see walking around.

Well said, Maja. I have small breasts and have never felt the need to make them bigger. I hate the stigma that comes with small breasts. It's like, women with larger breasts feel bad for you. I'm just fine with my small boobies thank you lol! I don't feel then need to stuff foreign objects in my body.

One thing I love about Sharon, she will always tell you the truth about stuff, instead of hiding it like so many others.

I keep waiting for the big fake booby fad to go away, but like the too skinny craze, it's still around.

I've had saline implants since about 21 yrs old.. they are about 17 yrs old now.. haha.. anyway, after being thrown to the ground in june, I noticed now, that one is getting smaller.. went to dr and yes, it is leaking.. going to replace them with smaller ones.. I hate what I have now anyway.. too big.. but I can't go with none, I'd look like a boy :(

I caught that yesterday. That is Kimora Simmons sitting next to her. And they both groped each other. If not for Sharon, it would have been awkward, but Sharon does what she wants so it's okay.j

I only watch when she is on. I refuse to watch when her stand-in, Kris Jenner, is there whoring out her family.

Danielle, as a big breasted woman I don't feel bad for small breasted women. In fact, I think how nice it must be to not have to wear a bra or to worry about knocking yourself out on the treadmill! Every size is great.

My hubby says that anything more than a handful is wasted.

Of course, that's probably his way of gettin' some, too, lol. . .

I'm a DD and would trade you right now for an A cup.

I've always wanted smaller boobs! I'm petite with natural 34Cs, and I always have to get tops and jackets to fit my damn boobies and then oftentimes get them altered because they're too big everywhere else. Button-up shirts, forget it. It's so annoying. Girls who want/get implants always say they want to "fill out" their clothes, but hello, fashion is better with a fairly small chest (do models--not VS ones--have big tits? No!) I would never get a reduction, but I've never felt sorry for smaller bobbed women. More like envious. :)

@Jamee - yeah, the button up shirts. Sadness. They never fit and always gap open. And if you're short like me, it's even worse finding blouses that fit.

When I had my reduction, I swear I went about 8 years just never wearing a bra. After having had to wear a bra to SLEEP for 20 years, it was SO NICE.

@Jamee/RQ - I have never been able to wear button ups for that same reason (I'm short & a DD). Shopping is super frustrating, esp. w/ tops. I would love to be a B or even a C!

I'm ok with boob jobs. The people that I know that have gotten them were completely flat & they said they felt so much better with them. The grass is always greener...

Smaller than 32A here, and having small boobs sucks too, guys! Completely not the "ideal" as defined by society. However, I would never get a boob job - it's terrifying the pressure for small chested women to enhance, it's just sad. Plus I've heard that implants aren't even supposed to be in longer than 10 years.

That being said, I would much rather have smaller breasts than larger - I can't imagine the flopping during running and I rage when men stare at me so I wouldn't be able to cope with a large chest.

like Feraltart says- every size is great. and every size comes with their benefits and downfalls.

I think when people say that phrase 'anything bigger than a handful is too much or a waste' its counterproductive and frankly sounds a bit defensive.

I have DDD breasts but my lovely mother has always had B's and I dont think either of us have a better set over the other. I've personally seen big breasted women and small breasted women rock it out and own their sexualities, and THATs what makes them look sexy- not their gaping shirt or lack there of.

I have been a 34B since I am 13. I wore the same sized bras through both pregnancies. Never went up in size and never cared either. I am small boned and anything larger than what I have would look silly. I just don't get the implant thing. I recently joined a fitness center and can't believe how many women walk around the changing room naked with their implants on display. I understand women who are very small breasted and get a realistic size, but those huge implants are just scary. Is it really necessary to blow dry your hair topless?

Hmmm...I have large ones, 38F. I either have to get bras made or go to specialized places-all a big pain. It took FOREVER for someone to figure out my correct bra size. They kept trying to put me in huge 44DD bras that never fit. I wear size 40 Fruit of the Loom sport camies. Makes me look like I have a uniboob, but they are comfortable and I HATE underwires. Anyway, I could never figure out the need for breast enlargement, but it would freak me out to stick something like that in my body. I would freak out if I woke-up one morning and my boob had deflated.
