Man Gets Back To Back Daily Doubles In Jeopardy

Roger Craig was already going to do pretty well in the Jeopardy Tournament of Champions. He already holds the record for most money earned in a day at $77K. When gets back to back Daily Doubles and answers them both correctly? Everyone else can just pack it up and go home.

They are feeding him the answers.

@Sussique, no they're not! There are just some really super-smart people who are good at trivia on this show.

We usually watch Jeopardy, and have noticed that this Tournament of champions is MUCH harder than usual days. I'm quite good at Jeopardy, but during the Tournaments I pretty much sit there shrugging my shoulders.

I actually knew the answers to the questions, too, but that's strictly the luck of the draw--and this guy lucked out, BIG time! You can tell his playing style was designed to find the Daily Doubles, and he succeeded, but after that it was pointless to continue for the other two contestants.

He is definitely the best Jeopardy contestant since Ken Jennings. The guy to his left, Tom Nissley, also won $200,000 during his regular run. Roger had to beat another extremely good player, Joon Pahk, to get to the final round.

Ultimately you have to be a sort of knowledge sponge to achieve any sort of success. It of course helps to analyze the clue selection trends of the show (that link was pretty fascinating, thanks for posting that)!

Does any body know of a way to watch Jeopardy online? I haven't had a tv in years and this is the only show I truly miss.
Thanks!
