No More Dancing With The Stars For Nancy Grace

Nancy Grace being on Dancing With The Stars was probably the best thing for her image. I know that it made me like her more that she was on the show and trying so hard and that I will be more likely to not turn the channel when she goes on one of her rants because she did show me another side of her. I don't know if she made the decision on her own to appear or if it was thrust upon her like Tristan during a tango, but it was the right decision. Her only slip up was a wardrobe malfunction early on, but hey, it gave the pervs of the internet and idea of who she is and a whole new legion of fans. When she started talking about Conrad Murray the other night, I just let her have her couple of minutes and it was all good. I was also pleasantly surprised at how far she made it. She had name recognition, but I did not think she would be that great. I was wrong. She did well.

I wish she hadn't tried to say that we didn't see her nipple. It was a nipple. Her nipple.

she is so overbearing but I think, like Dr. Drew does mean well.

She never let the Casey Anthony case fall off the radar.

and can be fun to watch arguing with defense attorneys.

I agree, being on the show made her more human. I did watch her alot during the Casey Anthony debacle, and I think it is great that she always highlights a fallen soldier at the end of her show. But this seemed to bring her out of her "courtroom persona" and make her more like a real person. I also like that she donated the money to the Center for Missing and Exploited Chidren.

I am very surprised she made it this far. I really don't think she is a bad person IRL. The thing that drives me most batty is when she interupts her guests b/c it's rude. :)

Her leg work was terrible. Totally disconnected with her upper body and I found it totally distracting.

She wasn't nearly as annoying as I expected and I liked Tristan.

Is she one of the few celebrities on this show who didn't go on about losing weight? She didn't look any different from start to finish to me.

OT, but: what I want to know is: on Dance Center last night (with Tristan being a good sport about them laughing at his accent,) did Kenny Mayne or did he not "drop the F-bomb?" When he called Hope Solo Han Solo and Len corrected him,I swear I heard him say, "Fuck it--Hope Solo." Did anybody else hear that, or am I hallucinating?
And I hope Karina Smirnoff and JR win this year and show Derek and Ricki up, BIG time.

^^^ Check Entertainment Weekly's Annie Barrett's DWTS "Hidden Gems" to see if anyone else caught it. One of my favorite reads after the shows. :-)

I never got the hate for Nancy Grace. I admit she can be kind of wearing at times, but I think she has a good heart and tries to help missing people.

She doesn't bother me for some reason. I thought she was very funny and personable on what little I saw of the show.

she said she lost 24 pounds during her time on the show.

As an attorney, she bothers me because the stuff she says on her show is often in direct conflict with the law. And because she is a "former prosecutor," this is extremely misleading to non-lawyers.

And, btw, she has several ethical violations during her past as a prosecutor. They may not seem major, but for an attorney, ANY ethical violation is a really big deal (like, you might lose your license big deal).

But I agree, the show did humanize her, and she seemed to genuinely make friends with the other contestants. I don't think she is a bad person, just a bad attorney. and very misleading.

In my previous comment, I wasn't completely clear-her comments can be very misleading for those who are not attorneys.

It's been a long day. Please excuse my poor writing (I promise I don't write this way at work)
