No One Noticed Maggie Gyllenhaal Is Pregnant
US Weekly is reporting that Maggie Gyllenhaal is six months pregnant. Apparently she told all her friends over Thanksgiving weekend and her rep confirmed it to US. It just shows you that if you are a celebrity you can fly under the radar of attention if you want. It also shows you that Maggie is a very skinny person to get away with a baby bump for six months and she is the one who had to tell her friends. She told them because apparently her bump is huge. The photo above is from a few weeks ago so she would have been five months pregnant and I still cannot really tell.

I *just* watched Secretary for the first time Sunday night, and it was amazing! I never really got her until I watched it. Now I do.
But anyway, congrats to her.

1. Sadly, Maggie used to be a spokeswoman for Agent Provacateur. You would think that they would have hooked her up with a good bra.
2. I guess she and Sarsgaard are not the answer to the blind about the couple that doesn't hug, kiss or have sex... or are they?
Secretary was great, but I still don't care for Maggie. The fact that she owns a shit load of fur doesn't help.
I too have often wondered if she was a surrogate for Toothy, er...Jake.
I saw this early this am and I've got to say I thought she was much older than 34. I would have guessed 44 easily. She's carrying well if it's true that she's 6 months along.
Other sites are posting her as 4 months. Great news.
Maggie doesn't really chase the fame machine. I am just surprised her and her husband have made it this long and with another kid on the way. Color me surprised.

Some people carry like that. Also, she is wearing a dress that manages, if not to hide the pregnancy, does not accentuate it. I'm old and have different values and while I see nothing unattractive about a pregnant woman, I do hate it when they wear clothes that stretch over and under and their outie belly button pooches through the fabric.
I don't much like her, though. I've only seen her in Crazy Heart and thought she was awful. She tends to stand/sit/posture with her shoulders forward all the time. I remember doing that in 7th grade when I suddenly had boobs and was embarrassed by them. Shoulders back, Maggie!

I think I have only seen her in Batman and I thought she was so awful!

The only thing I don't like about her (besides the lack of a good bra...although it is way too late to help those girls) is that I get the feeling that she thinks herself so ridiculously precious. Just a feeling I get, I have nothing to back it up...
And Secretary was the ONLY film of hers I've liked. I wanted to claw my eyes out when I watched Cherry Baby, Away We Go, etc.
