Lindsay Lohan's Playboy Issue Is A Bust
It looks like Lindsay Lohan does as good of a job selling magazines as she does selling movies. Her issue of Playboy is one of the worst sellers of the year for Playboy. I think they should have known something was going to be terribly wrong when they had to shoot Lindsay a second time. Plus, there was really nothing new or exciting about the pictures as evidenced by the loudest yawn in history when they were released on the internet. If they had not been released, I think people would have been suckered into buying the issue and then probably wanting their money back. FOX did a survey of a bunch of retailers and not one of them had even sold one issue of her cover.

You just know they are going to blame it on the pictures being leaked and not the fact that she looks terrible and is such a POS no one wants to see her.

I saw the pics online, and frankly, I've seen more erotic pics in Vanity Fair or on Cosmo covers. I guess all that's really left for her now is to do a reality show, or maybe leave showbiz altogether and continue to straighten out her life. She appears to be on the right track lately. Hopefully it lasts.

i don't know, i read something that quoted hef as saying he had his doubts about her from the get-go and so, yeah; a dud.
i didn't see the inside pix, and i have not seen a playboy in ages. is it common that the cover pix would be shot that way? with the model SO small, and showing so little? seems like you want something to get people to look inside and to me that cover is all set up to cover saggy areas. not tantalizing

What's funny is that TMZ is reporting that her issue was a huge seller, and that several outlets had to re-order because they completely sold out. So who's right here?
I can't help but think that Playboy shoots are only exciting to the general public when they think they'll be seeing something they haven't seen before--and really, haven't we already seen everything Lindsay's got before this? (Hey, Hef, next time you want to blow $1M, give me a call--I'll just take your money, spend in on useful stuff--paying off debts, helping family, setting up a retirement fund--and you won't have to even worry about setting up a photo shoot, because no one would want to see me naked in the first place. ;-) I get the $$, you get to feel good for helping me & mine out, and you still get to put a hot chick on the cover/in the centerfold...win/win, is all I'm saying. ;-)
I just read on TMZ the opposite is occurring. The Lohan issue of Playboy is selling out everywhere.
I'm sure it's selling out wherever Dina could send someone to buy all the copies.
I wonder how well Playboy does anyway, in the age of internet porn. Do they make money anymore? I'd love to know their sales figures to see if Lindsay's issue was that much below the second-worst (and third, fourth) selling issue. They can say it's the worst-selling issue, but maybe it's "worst" by two percent or something.
The photos were boring, IMO.
TMZ is very pro-Lindsay, I'm assuming because they have some sort of deal with Lindsay or Dina or both, so I'm sure they're full of shit. I think Playboy admitting that this is one of their lowest sellers is more likely to be true.
Srsly, I've happened across TMZ the show and they report consistently on how great she's doing.
I don't think TMZ is very pro lindsay I think TMZ is very pro Playboy/Hugh Hefner and are trying to turn a lemon into lemonaide for Hugh Hefner.
Even I thought that TMZ posting was a joke and wondered how Enty was going to weigh in on it with the truth.

Yeah, I have seen Harvey & the others say some not nice things about what a slack ass Lindsay is and that her parents are the most terrible people on the planet.
I still think the only person with financial incentive to leak the photos was Lindsay herself, for a quick buck, and that most people in the entertainment business see right through what just happened here. She's toast.

hahahhahha. I only believe Enty. Aside from curiosity purchases perhaps having risen, I wonder what the actual sales numbers are? On the other hand, I also think the regular subscribers and in-store purchasers would not skip this edition. That being said, I can see the edition doing better than most on average even if the spread is weak.

CNN is reporting the issue as selling, but contradict their claim in the article by saying that only one store is sold out. Meanwhile, no sales figures are being listed. Who knows what the truth is?

I did it! I finally figured out why Hef paid Lohan that kind of money for pics anyone can see for free! Lohan is destined for a flash exit, and this mag will be a collector's item selling for big bucks after her death.
I kinda want a dollar burger from Mickey D's after seeing the cover. Red + Yellow = McDonald's not sexy times with Lindsay.
The Lindsay Lohan shoot proves to me that PB go longer gives a crap. There is much better pay sites that offer much better nudity professionals out there.
