Was Former Miss USA Rima Fakih Arrested Or Not?
You see, on the weekends there is more time to discuss things like whether former Miss USA winner Rima Fakih was actually arrested for drunk driving late Friday night or not. Her lawyer says she was. He even apologized for her and says that she deeply regrets it. Now, stop there for a second. Lets suppose this lawyer got a call from a news organization and he just said what he said without checking with his client, he is going to look pretty stupid. I mean why apologize for something she did not do. That being said, you would think if she did get arrested for drunk driving she would probably call her lawyer.
Now, after the alleged arrest Rima Tweeted that it was not her and she was not even in Michigan. Her attorney then told the Detroit Free Press that she was in town.
Then later on Saturday she said on her Facebook page in a post that has since been removed that she is NOT in Michigan and NOT in jail. OK, so she left Michigan after she got out of jail? Complicating things is that the police there will not confirm she was arrested so we also don't get the lovely Miss USA mug shot.

But... but... a Miss USA mugshot would be priceless! Courtney Love could've put it on the cover of her CD, the one with Miss World on it. (Live through this? I can't remember. Because I had it on TAPE, and it doesn't work anymore.)
