ReplyDeleteHaving read bios of both Frank and Ava, I find it believable. Ava was notoriously volatile and Frank kept up with her long after their divorce in 1957.
ReplyDeleteSinatra was also Kennedy-obsessed. There's a tale in Dominic Dunne's book about how Sinatra basically killed Peter Lawford (married to a Kennedy girl)'s career after JFK blew him off for Crosby.
