Brad Pitt Busts A Knee
Apparently Brad Pitt was skiing and was doing so while holding one of the twins. That does not really sound like the greatest idea ever and it ended up with Brad injured badly enough where he is having to make public appearances with a cane and barely able to use that. I am guessing he probably needs surgery but wants to make it through award season with a cane and not crutches so grins and bares it and raids Angelina Jolie's medicine cabinet which I am sure is filled with things which can make even the most unbearable pain like a trip to Disney World.

Wow I have never seen Angie look that beat up before. Her skin has a terrible plastic sheen and she looks like she is smuggling nuts in her cheeks (or as Enty would probably counter, an eight ball). Yikes....so thankful I don't have to grow old and whither in the spotlight...

Um, he was walking down a hill, not skiing. Sheesh.
I saw a guy recently skiing with a toddler on his shoulders. More than one person spoke to him about how dangerous a fall (or collision with another skier) could be for him and his child. He ignored the concerned commenters.
I thought he was walking in the snow or walking downhill in the snow like Ms. said.
Angelina obviously has oily skin and given the high temps in the SoCal desert, I know it was a warm night. I saw a picture of her on another site and her wrinkles were showing and I thought good for her!
Okay, I'm done defending 'em.
I see people skiing with babies and toddlers strapped to their backs. I don't care how good a skier you think you are, this cannot be a good idea! It always makes me very nervous. If you can afford to ski, you can afford a sitter to stay with the baby while you hit the slopes!

I started skiing with my son a month after he turned 3. I would be behind him with him sort of between my legs. Very easy; worked fine for both of us. He is 6 now and is a great skier.
Parents who put children on their shoulders, or backs, while skiing, seem to forget one VERY IMPORTANT danger hazard on the slopes:
SNOWBOARDERS!
One might jump out of nowhere and slice your child's head off!

Whether he was walking or skiing how did he do so much damage to himself while holding the a baby? What happened to the baby?
I wish I could do as much for as many people as these two have done.
I know there is no way my life could stand up to half the scrutiny.

I think his tale is bogus. What happened was Brad said "I can't take this anymore. I'm out of here!" Angie was like "Oh yeah, really?" and slammed his leg with a toy machine gun. Then she said "You can't go - I'm your biggest fan." Be more careful, Brad. She's not playing.
Sounds like it was a pretty innocent accident if other reports are to be believed. However, if it really is that bad, he needs to get it taken care of. Knee injuries, hell any injury, at his age can have long lasting nasty effects. There, I said it, dude is old.
The sentence should read "...while holding one of his bongs." Make a note kids.
That is the sexiest man with a cane I've ever seen. Brad is looking so hot lately!
OK, I am 42 and remember when I spent a whole day roaming my neighbourhood and just enjoying myself. Children don't have the freedom to do that anymore. People die tripping out of bed in the morning, so I think a bit of adventure doesn't hurt anybody. I have sat on a plastic chair next to my friend in her plastic chair on the back of her dad's truck as he drove us into town. We would have been toast if anything happened to us, but I have the memory of doing something exhilarating. I am not going to criticise parents who have their children outside exercising and they are spending time with them.
I think AngieJo beat Pitt with his cane after reading the covers about his ex.
Rita- dont pick on snowboarders. Skiiers can be just as bad. I think it's just that nowadays, more younger people (who like to go fast) are boarding. It's also the noise factor. Snowboards when they stop make a much louder noise than skis.
No problem teaching a child to ski with them between your legs. Carrying them on your back? no non o no

How would you have your knees "done" at a spa? I'm picturing Brad sitting around in shorts while his knees get a mask, a scrub, some moisturizer and an electrode treatment to keep them glowing & perky throughout awards season. (The extractions must be a real bitch, though... ;-) Seriously, dude, if your knees are messed up, see a good orthopedic surgeon & get them taken care of--I don't think it'll hurt your chances during awards season, plus you neeeeed those knees when you've got 6 kids to chase after!
I just Googled it and the first news story (Washington Post) said he was carrying Vivienne down a hill during a ski trip and slipped.
So Enty was half right, maybe?
Mybe it happened at a Fight Club. and we'd never know because of the first rule of the Fight Club.
But seriously, how embarrassing. It's macho to break your knee skiing a black diamond hill, not so much to break your knee walking downhill from the car to the ski lodge!
I just read an article about a TOP PLASTIC SURGEON to the stars..I think it was in Allure. And this Dr. said he sometimes puts a fake cast on a celebrity's leg, etc. to distract from the fact that the client has had work done. Don't know why I thought of that when I saw the CANE !!
