Brittany Murphy's Father Starts The Wrongful Death Lawsuit Process
Having seen there might be a few bucks to make, Brittany Murphy's father has sued the LA County Coroner to obtain samples of Brittany's hair, both from her head and her face. Her face? Really? Did you even know they took samples from that? He says the official cause of death is wrong and that the report was released before the toxicology reports were final. I guess he thinks he can go after the home builder or someone else close to Brittany who might have helped things along in the death department. He never seemed all that concerned until the possibility of earning some money from her death was discussed.

Let the guy get his samples, so the poor young woman can finally just RIP.

I watched 8 Mile again last night and I gotta tell you, Brittany seemed really twitchy throughout that movie. I know she was involved in drugs for a while, wondering if it was during the filming of that.

As much as I'd like to see justice over her untimely death, it's been over 2 years, let here RIP. He should have questioned it earlier.
The person to blame to me is Simon her husband for not taking her to the hospital. But he is dead also, just let them rest in peace.
Her father had nothing to do with Britany, he ditched the family when she was a child.
But deadbeats will do anything when they smell money.
Good! I'm glad someone is finally looking into this, even if it might be for financial gain. This whole incident was so bizarre.

It is so hard to believe she is the same person from Clueless. She was so young and sweet there.
I'm not really sure what is the big mystery about Brittany's death. Doctors said she died of a combo of having pneumonia and taking a mixture of prescription drugs. That sounds legit to me. Both those things on their own can be deadly. Put them together and it's no wonder she died. It's not like doctors have said "We don't know why she died and probably never will." Poor Brittany, all these people should let her rest in peace.
I just wish she could rest in peace :(

it's all so mysterious. did anyone ever listen to that radio show that interviewed brittany's butler? even if you don't believe him, it's really worth listening to. the whole scenario with her makes me shudder. and sad. I'll see if i can find the link.

Are you for real?! Her father just wants ANSWERS! Ever heard of THAT? Or is that just too odd for you to fathom that a dad would want to know WTF happened to his daughter!!
The reason he, as you so eloquently put it, "ditched" his daughter is because Sharon pushed him away & persuaded Brittany to keep away from him. Sharon admits this herself.
In other words NO he did not "ditch" her. In fact, in later years, he and Brittany met in secret quite a number of times to hang out together and have some father daughter time.
I know the man and he loves his daughter and is going through so much emotional pain. To imply that he's only in it for financial gain is disgusting of you. :( He has been treated like crap by Sharon & by all of Brittany's friends who side with her against a man they NEVER EVEN MET! He's doing the best he can at this point with what he has and he intends to get answers & the truth as to what really happened to Brittany. And you dare judge him for that?!
Is it just me who thought she was GORGEOUS? She looked awesome on the red carpet in the last years of her life. She had one of the best make-up, personal trainer and stylist teams that did wonders for her. And her talent was amazing. She did all her own singing in Happy Feet. Who knew?
Maybe he actually cares.
