I'm on team Cole, but I think it may be major illness. I saw a lot of re-runs of her Mormon Tabernacle Christmas special -- in the section where she had to sing without her own conductor, she was just awful and seemed to have trouble focusing.
I hope it's not Natalie Cole. She had a kidney transplant (and her sister died after donating) so you'd hope she'd do everything possible to treat her body with some respect
God I hope it's not my girl Chaka Kahn. I don;t know if she ever had a grammy, but she did have a serious dope prob. However, I'm pretty sure she just got custody of her grandkid so lets seriously hope not.
Probably way off base with this guess, but what about Britney Spears? I know Papa Spears is watching her every move, but she was the first one I thought of....but then again, I never listened to her music to begin with so she may have had a hit.
Natalie Cole's sister wasn't her donor and died of cancer while Natalie was in the hospital having her transplant.

Natalie had Hep C and went through heavy duty chemo for it and it shot her immune system. I read several non-recycled interviews with her, 'exclusives' talking about her ordeal. If that's not enough for her, what could be?
