Maya Rudolph was great last night. I was so happy to see her finally getting to be in the spotlight.

Maya and Amy Poehler were great last night. Makes me thing I should give SNL another chance... though that skit with Bill O'Reilly and Kate Upton gave me pause.
Maya was great, but the person picking the musical artists needs replacing.

And I cannot BELIEVE Lohan is going to host next week. Admittedly, though, the girl does have good comedic timing.
Maya was awesome last night. I LOVE her Beyonce impression. Next time, I hope she breaks out her Donatella. :-)

I was worried when I saw it was Maya hosting, she used to do the Whitney Houston act on SNL, but agree with the others, the show was good, but the musical guest SUCKED ass.
Really wish Justin Timberlake would take an SNL gig full time also. He really is better on there than he is at singing.

On Lohan this could be a rescheduling of the canceled segment...

I love Maya. She was my favorite performer when she was a regular. She's also married to one of the coolest people alive, Paul Thomas Anderson.
Lindsay is going to need some help from the sound dept. when she hosts. Her voice is hoarser than Tina Turner's after being up for 4 nights straight at this point.
P.S. Maya's Maya Angelou was a riot....

This was hilarious. I normally hate this show but I think everyone nailed every character, especially 'Jay' & 'Taylor'. Gonna have to look up a Bon Iver video now, lol.
I thought it was pronounced "Bon EYE-ver". Glad to know it's the much more pretentious "Bohn EE-vear".
@Jason B E - I DID NOT know she's married to him! Thanks for that. It makes her even more fabulous, in my book. I do know who her mom was, though, hence my previous joke/post.
Props have to be doled out to the dude who played Jay-Z, too. He sounded JUST LIKE HIM -- right down to the way each sentence was punctuated with a "Yep!"

I love Maya too, and PTA. However, I wonder about PTA since he is the inspiration for Fiona Apple's "Extraordinary Machine" album. I have always wondered if "Window" is about him and Maya..
Perhaps they were just one of those toxic couples.

PTA=Paul Thomas Anderson who is one of the greatest film directors going. He directed one of my favorite movies, Boogie Nights. They are not married legally. Maya looked pregnant last night.
Anderson makes me wonder too. GQ did not do a very flattering profile of him a few years ago. He came of as arrogant and obnoxious.
The pronunciation of Bon Iver isn't being pretentious ... it's French. Although, that is one & the same, innit?
"Boogie Nights" is one my fav movies of all time.

Fiona has an album, but who knows if it will get released. Sony needs to realize she is not a chart topper, she just has a million fans who love her for her talent alone! I loooooove my Fiona.
