One of my favorite all time divas has herself quite the mouth


. She also has certain beliefs about what songs should be played and what songs should not. Our diva used to be A list back in the day and is probably still and will always be a B list. She is also a nominee/winner of the big one. Anyway she was at a club and this disco version of a classic song comes on. Our diva goes over to the DJ and starts screaming at him. Oh, this is after she has hurled a cocktail glass at him and the glasses of all her companions. “Don't you ever play that f**king song again. If you do, I will have you fired. She is turning over in her grave.” She then went back to the table and did a line of coke.

    Cher is very vocal about her dislike of coke and claims to have never even tried it. I believe her, as she's so forthcoming and outspoken about EVERYTHING else.

    I was thinking Streisand until I saw the part about going into a club. She's won Grammies & an Oscar. Although Cher wouldn't surprise me.

    OK I am more solid on Diana now because of Lady Sings the Blues. She was nominated for Best Actress for that. It is a movie about Billie Holliday

    Liza. And the song was Over the Rainbow. At least that's my guess.

    Obviously the original version of the song is from a deceased artist. And saying "disco version" makes me think this isn't too recent. I mean, who days disco anymore?

    I'm for Liza since apparently(I have never heard them) there are disco versions of Over The Rainbow (making Judy turn in her grave). I could see a DJ putting that on if he knew Liza was in the house. Also I assume the "big one" reference would cover Liza's Oscar.

    and I'm not the Cheryl who posted above….My thought was Chaka Khan, the song being a disco version of a Whitney Houston song.I know that at some point Whitney covered Chaka's I'm Everyone Woman.

    Chaka's sober, has been for the past few years. Sure it's not her. And Cher is big time anti-drug, so I'd rule her out

    I like the Bette Midler or Diana Ross guesses. Both divas with a resume that warrants special handling, (thoguh I think Ross has earned permanent A list status), and Oscar nominees for acting. Diana's had drink issues over the years, has done time for DUI. Bette's discussed some drug usage.

    Cher is and will always be A++++ list. The woman sells out whatever she decides to do, and she's been nominated and won everything. Plus, she's honest as can be and has said coke isn't her thing. And, she's a class act. I don't think she'd throw a drink – or her whole parties' drinks. She'd give her piece of mind peacefully. Chaka Khan is sober and raising her grandbabies. I like the Diana Ross guess – she's looney and not sober.

    I sure hope Bette isn't a diva. I've never heard any stories about her being one either?

    Diana strikes me as one who might throw her own drink but to clear the table of everyones drink seems a bit excessive for her. Besides, she's a grandmother of almost 70 so God forbid she behaves like this

    Bette is notorious for being a major cunt. I mean, major. Putting people down, making them cry etc etc….there have been blogs based on it. I know at least there have been plenty of stories on the web but I don't think it's her….maybe?

    I think she is a great guess.

    I can totally see Aretha being a total ass.

    But then again… Patti LaBelle has been acting a fool for the last 2 years out in public.

    At least one lawsuit for having a meltdown at the Houston airport. And recently had a meltdown in a Hotel over some child near her.

    Sounds like Liza to me as my guess. Cher no drink, Babs is too old to club it and usually doesn't and is also married so can't see her doing that. Not Arefa..Just cannot be my queen. Hmm…may be Patti…Damn it! Now I confused myself.

    Liza won an oscar for Cabaret and has had drug and alcohol abuse problems. Her behavior is quite bizarre, I bet it is her.
