Bobby Brown Paid For Whitney Houston Rehab When He Was Homeless
Back in 2006, Bobby Brown says he paid for Whitney Houston to go to rehab and he spent so much money on her and his daughter that it left him broke. He also said that while he was paying for Whitney to go to rehab he was living out of his car. These were all in court papers that Radar dug up. At the time Bobby says Whitney was in rehab, Whitney says that she had oral surgery and then went to a clinic to recover from it. She must have gone to the same dentist as Mischa Barton.

No matter what he does, no matter what he says, people will say he did the opposite. I am over everyone trying to paint Whitney as a victim. She had enough resources, including Clive Davis who stuck by her when no one wanted her, to get herself cleaned up. She had the opportunities to have a comeback-Which she blew-or smoked, or snorted-all over Europe. She had the resources to go to rehab and have a sober living coach with her 24/7. She is in the grave due to her choices.
Unfortuntately, he has his bad boy rep and she was the good girl.
It wouldn't surprise me if this story is true.
It's good to hear something nice about him for a change.
I believe him. He truly loved her, and he did clean himself up. I saw New Edition a couple of years ago. He's in the worst shape out of all of them (physically and voice wise), but he can still perform.
@moosefan......I agree with everything you said. at some point addicts need to take personal responsibility and not blame others for putting them in the situation. I 'know who introduced Whitney to drugs, but she definitely made the decision to stay and continue use.

She died of her disease.
Period.
Not because of her choices and not because of other influences including people. Millions of people suffer from and die of addiction yet someone always wants to blame the addict or their families. How about we put the focus on the disease itself and then look at the society that allows big business and government to run, mandate and most importantly profit off of this disease .. Until we understand more and make the fundamental changes in how we view addiction.. Then the addict suffers and everyone hands out blame like cigarettes.
Agree with MooseFan's comments. It's sad that she died at an early age but instead of cleaning herself up she continued the bad road. If her daughter does the same thing she will end up like her mother too.
I don't know if this story is true or not but Bobby Brown got on with his life after their divorce and he is clean while Whitney continued on her path of self destruction, to me that says a lot about each of them and I say this as a big Whitney fan.
My friend showed me that Bobby & Whitney reality show... jesus. She was so effed up. He seemed pretty straight from the episode I saw...but her...my god.

Bobby didn't introduce her to drugs, Nosey. She was well on her way to being an addict when she met him. The problem was that they were too much alike in the bad habits, and they fueled one another. Neither one of them had the desire or strength to get sober.
Bobby may be clean from hard core drugs, but he still smokes the weed. Whitney and Bobby were both self destructive. What I'm dying to know is - who sold the pics to the tabloids! The funeral director said she knew and that is the last I have heard...
