Think Elizabeth Banks. She is mentioned in several posts about the dinner, can't find that many pics but she appears to be alone there.
Or Julie Bowen from Modern Family. Also looks to be there alone.

i'm guessing claire danes because of the photo post awhile back where she was shown at an event for her husband with a caption about the squeaky wheel being their marriage.

Claire Danes is way too private a person to drop something like that in conversation. I just don't think it is her.
I really hope that it's not Elizabeth Banks. She has been with her husband since college and IIRC, they also have a production company together, let alone their new baby. I really hope that this is someone else. :/

Elizabeth Banks is definitely more known for movies than television. Claire Danes seems more likely -- she has done movies, but most people know her from MSCL and Homeland.
Isn't Messing divorced already?
tbh, for me it's the other way around. I (only) know Claire Danes for Romeo/Juliet, Elizabeth Banks I know from tv, scrubs etc.
Debra Messing has already gone public with her separation (or maybe even already is divorced), so don't think this is her.

claire danes has received all of her major accolades for her work in television. homeland and temple grandin are both commercial and critical successes. i would categorize her as B+. it's always been rumored that hugh is gay and she is a beard
Julie Bowen was talking to every reporter there at great length on CSPAN while they were showing the arrivals. I would guess it was her.
@laurenbelle - Amy Poehler was at the Comedy Awards in NY with her husband that same night.
But is Julie Bowen really a movie actress? Isnt she only known for her TV-work?
I'm going with Elizabeth Banks. There were photos of her being very friendly with some of her fellow actors there.
