Well at least I know why Mary Murphy is always so damn excited on So You Think You Can Dance. It's because she is hopped up on coke and just got finished having sex for the third time that day and is looking for more. According to her former manager Michael Sanchez, Mary has been known to miss meetings and performances because of her abuse of illegal drugs and illegal prescription drugs. One night he even had to break into her apartment because she was unconscious due to coke use. Oh, and there was the time he found her passed out in bed with a SYTYCD producer and coke on the nightstand. Oh, and lots of crew members from her show and Chelsea Lately and even a married man she met online. How does she find time to judge?

Mary is an acquired taste, she can give good technical dance critiques, and the rest of the time she keeps it from being dull.

I've only ever seen her on The Soup in clips and she always seems hyper...so the fact she's on coke is not a big surprise, really. But I have to give her credit - she's not zooming around in a pink wig or passing out in the front seat of cars...at least not that we know about...
I read somewhere a while back that she suffered sexual abuse in her youth. That could explain a lot of things.

And I have seen and done a LOT and have never seen someone pass out from it. If she used heroin as a come down or took ambien or xanax then it's more likely.

She's normally hyper, but there was one audition episode where she was clearly drugged out of her mind. It was painful to watch. So, the season she took off, did she really have cancer, or was she in rehab, or was it a combination of the two? She did seem to have her shit pulled together when she came back.
As for the producer, I always figured she and Nigel were friends with benefits.
I can't watch this show because I hate Nigel and Mary so much.
